Do you know what the rules are? I can't find what the hearts mean.

The hearts mean how much health you have. If you run out of hearts by getting hit by the opponent's snowballs, the game is over. Do you have Wii Fit Plus? You can get the rules there.

I do have plus but I didn't get a book that describes al the games and how they work? I looked online and didn't find anything. Should there have been a book in with it? Thanks for the help.

Just like they did with this game , Nintendo should combine the wii fit board with the remote and nunchuck in more games.
Even in first person shooters they could use the board to control the players movement and the remote as the gun.
