i once played a perfect sounding snare drum for my school band. never again since have i played a drum with snares, head, and tensioner tuned so perfectley together.

like really a roll was perfect and a hit was a brisk snap with no ring or anything. and there were no extra sounds from pianissimo all to way to fortissimo.

I can explain a snare drum pretty easily, being a percussionist- Get some sticks, hold them loose, beat the crap out of your (snare)drum making sure to hold your sticks LOOSELY.
