  • Thank you for making this video. Our grandmothers and female reletives fought for,and had to die sometimes while performing a procedure that's now safe and legal. We owe those women alot, and we will never go back! Keep abortion Legal! Prochoice and proud!

  • I love how you claim the studies are unfounded, if that was the case, why would you continually erase my posts? Hmmmmm.....I have found that those who are afraid that their argument is weak have a tendency to try to shut up those with differing views. The study that you mention was taken over ONE year by a biased source. That is not nearly as conclusive as a study done over a decade, by an unbiased source.

  • @peacefulvines

I've never erased your posts. In fact, I don't even recall seeing any of your posts.

  • Abortion must be legal, the other option is barbaric.

But I still don't support it and it should be counselled against.

Abortion as a last resort must be legal, but should be a last resort.

  • Women who have an abortion face a 248 percent greater risk of suicide, accidental death or homicide in the following year, according to 13-year Finnish study that did not have a finger in the political pie of the "abortion", as John Hopkins does. The study was conducted by Finland's National Research and Development Center for Welfare and Health and published in the European Journal of Public Health. The data was from the years 1987-2000 on all deaths among women of reproductive age, 15 to 49.

  • @peacefulvines

Well, if you can provide a citation I will look at it again although I believe that I have already read this study and believe that you are misquoting it .... probably deliberately. The John Hopkins study is well cited and goes back many years.

  • So are you really for ripping 1/3 of all preborn babies apart, and then putting their arms, feet, legs, heads back together again to make sure all of the baby is there? That's what's happening. And the baby's choice is not even considered. Think about this. Leave women options. Adoption, help with keeping the little one, don't push "poor, rural" or as the founder of Planned Parenthood calls them "feeble minded" into killing their own children.

  • @peacefulvines

absolutely, kill the mother too. and actually PP is a competitior, however, 95% of all appointments at PP are non-abortion related. ie- pelvic exams, birth control prescriptions, etc.

  • See ladies ...the thing is that it's always been morally wrong to murder babies; before or after Roe v. Wade. An much greater number of babies than unwilling mothers have died as a result of legal/illegal abortions. Good for South Dakota and good for the U.S. Military (who keep us all safe to do more than screw w/o consequences). The extent to which I am emotionally moved by this video is easily overcome when I think of all the babies murdered before and after Roe v. Wade. Abortion is murder.

  • @LastUnicornEver

uh huh ..... but when you religious zealots refer to abortion as murder it tends to incite the more unstable zealots among you to pick up a gun and murder a doctor.

  • @LastUnicornEver

and its always been wrong to fuck an innocent young child up the ass but thousands of christian clerics have done it anyway over most of the last century ......

  • Kinda dumb.

Women used coat hangers to induce bleeding. That was before suction/aspiration machines were invented.

If abortion was illegal, people would still perform abortions using the modern technology. It would be still relatively unsafe as all legal abortion is now unsafe, but it would be illegal and rare.

  • @jcr4runner

Well I'm for the coat hanger and the knitting needle myself. Assuming you are correct then the only segment of society that would be adversely affected would be women living in poverty or otherwise those who could not afford to travel to where abortion services are available. Actually this goes on today in states like Mississippi where there is only one women's health clinic left in the state.

  • @CatholicCoatHanger Actually, working near MS...I can tell you that there is far more help for women there who choose life...choices other than babies dying and mother's hearts being broken. Did you know that according to the largest most scientific studies made of women after abortion---in a country that acceptes abortion as completely normal--shows that they are 6 TIMES MORE LIKELY TO COMMIT SUICIDE AFTER ABORTION. This isn't a right. Abortion hurts us. It takes life.

  • @peacefulvines

well, again with promulgating myths. The problem with your pregnancy care centers is that they will typically deceive a patient by posing as a medical program where you abandon them after the first trimester .......... it is a deceitful malicious lie that you are promoting here ........ see the Johns hopkins study on abortion/suicide since you are full of shit

Study finds no rise in post-abortion mental issues

    By Lynne Peeples, Health(dot)com

    January 26, 2011 5:29 p.m. EST

As if deciding how to handle an unplanned pregnancy wasn't stressful enough, several studies in recent years have suggested that young women who have an abortion may be at increased risk of mental health problems afterward.

  • Those concerns are unfounded, according to a new study conducted in Denmark and published this week in the New England Journal of Medicine. In fact, the study found, while the rate of psychiatric problems was unchanged in women who had an abortion, it appears to spike post-birth in women who carry their babies to term.

  • @jcr4runner

wrong .... this is a typical prolife myth promulgated by religious zealots ...... medical abortion is far safer than carrying a pregnancy to term. The purpose of inserting a coathanger of any other device into the vagina is to damage the yolk sac and embryonic membranes resulting in abortion. it often failed resulting in hemorrhaging, sterilization and death.
