Those that were there living it, they know!
@hekone100 , may the Gods of House bless you my friend. This is a true House classic and I remember dancing until I was drenched with sweat to this and so many other House classics I've found on the Youtube. Another reason why we cannot let the internet be censored by anyone or any corporation for their own personal gain. The net brings worlds together and I've found House joints that I haven't heard in years. YEARS!!!! Youtube is truly "Da Shit!" Let's keep it that way.
i remember being 15 and kissing girls on the dance floor to this kind of house! it was like discovering you were bound and never knew it and actually grasping the meaning of being free for the 1st time, thank god i had house music in my teenage years
Holy S**t!!! House music in its purest form! A lost art form. Everything else from the 80's & early 90's seems to be resurfacing, what's up with the house music people? Long live Roseland, The Tunnel, The Red Zone, Hearthrobs, 1018, The Paradise Garage, Latin Quarters, The Rooftop... GOD! I'm homesick!!! I need to invent a time machine...

Im 19 an grew up around this dam i hate todays music just clones but this time was live an diffrent this is soul music just real so real{house for life}
A Time machine will never be invented because no one will want to stay in the present. Tracks like this make us all want to come back 18 years ago in early 90s. Great period for dance music, house, techno and even trance. Absolutely classic!
New house sounds different because as technology progressed more channels could be put into a song giving it a more "full" sound, but this just sounds so much better than the "sirens" in electro-house
@rsjokes I think the magic behind tracks like this remains exactly in the technological limitations of that era. DJs and producers had to be real wizards to extract gold from those machines. Today we have no limitations and even a kid could make a track like this in his bedroom, but.... where's the creativity? Everyone wants to sound like Deadmau5 and David Guetta rather than develop his own visions about music.
I had a discussion the other day and this track came up. You know this is just a combination of the Bassline from I WANT YOU TO KNOW by GROOVE COMMITTEE and the drums directly sampled from DO YOU WANT ME BABY by CLOUD 9 , (with Barbara Tucker hook and Louie Vega chords added).
Remember these days.....when cocaine was actually good, and had EUPHORIA!! Now the garbage is all jaw-grinding speedy crap cut with meth and who knows what else. I quit mid 90's.....but aahhh, that first snap after a 6 pack with good house playing in the background. Time machine, yes.
@waffleface100 YES! Forced house withdrawal can result in mania. I know this cause I to once lived where there was no house. I was forced to travel long distances just to get a fix! lol
@waffleface100 I'm still in the N.Y.C. but i feel you on being caught out of town or country with no house. And I still wanna go back to these days!!!!!
@MegaMoobag Yo. House and 'current music sounds a lot like this again believe it or not. Also, pills and mdma are as good as they've ever been (after a very long lul). Come dip your toe in...it's warm! xxx
@LaurenRoseUK I like the warm and willing to dip my toes in lol But pills and mdna were cut to shit..... Bring back the old days and they are on the come back :) xxxx
@KingBrvno new generation of people going to clubs, new djs/producers.Every generation changes whether we like it or not.At least we have the technology now to remember and store the old tunes etc.
There's a house classic song that's sung by a lady (I don't know the names neither of the lady nor of the song). It's a slow song. She sounds kinda Kylie Minogue. Does anyone have one clue of what I'm trying to find??
@BKNY728 DAMN I remember partying until the SUN came up.. STUDIO54 listening to Todd Terry and LIL Louis Vega RIP SHIT apart. Best Days..HOUSE MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE!!
@BKNY728 Me too....just jogged for 30 mins, I;m 42, now married with kids, but I remember the 90's living single in the Chi-town, going to clubs just to hear the beats....holy hanna! I'm right there with you!! Glad I had the experience!

Remember these days.....when cocaine was actually good, and had EUPHORIA!! Now the garbage is all jaw-grinding speedy crap cut with meth and who knows what else. I quit mid 90's.....but aahhh, that first snap after a 6 pack with good house playing in the background. Time machine, yes.

waffleface100 8 months ago 19
@waffleface100 YES! Forced house withdrawal can result in mania. I know this cause I to once lived where there was no house. I was forced to travel long distances just to get a fix! lol

If only the proper old skool garage, house and raving could be revived....... then again the pills would never be the same :D
MegaMoobag 8 months ago
@MegaMoobag Yo. House and 'current music sounds a lot like this again believe it or not. Also, pills and mdma are as good as they've ever been (after a very long lul). Come dip your toe in...it's warm! xxx

The new millenium house music is a real big piece of shit..the 90's were so perfect, why did musicians go bonkers?
KingBrvno 8 months ago
@KingBrvno new generation of people going to clubs, new djs/producers.Every generation changes whether we like it or not.At least we have the technology now to remember and store the old tunes etc.
1984ioc 8 months ago
@KingBrvno new technology means its a piece of piss to produce, meaning the quality has deteriorated dramatically

There's a house classic song that's sung by a lady (I don't know the names neither of the lady nor of the song). It's a slow song. She sounds kinda Kylie Minogue. Does anyone have one clue of what I'm trying to find??
