My college class is doing this for a project. We split up into groups and have to make an inflatable... something. My group chose an inflatable pumpkin jack o lantern with a carving knife sticking out of the side. Believe me it's not as easy to make these as it looks! It takes forever and if you use tape, the tape sticks where you don't want it and you cannot pull it off without ruining something. It can make you very angry but to see the thing inflate makes it all worthwhile!

That's the opposite of what you would want then, because the environment in which these are put are the property of the State of New York; so it would warrant a fine for littering in the legal system, even though it is interesting and cool, if destroyed or unhooked, can cause free floating litter, so maybe think about a short term water soluble or bio-degradable advertisement object. =D
