Should I be able to read the beginning? cause I can't. Pretty good damn though. I must disagree about ones sex not being an issue in online games. Girls get treated different than boys in my experiences.
Yah... the writing at the start is all goofed up... I put it in the (more info) thing on the right, since I couldn't figure out how to fix it...
Why I said gender doesn't matter online is because girls DO get treated differently... but only if the other player THINKS it's a girl on the other end. I did an experiment a while ago with male and female avitars, then played each of them with a "girl" voice one day and a "guy" voice the next...
Whenever I used a "guy" voice, I was treated as a guy (rude jokes, swearing and no help for the noob), regardless of the avitar's 'gender'. But when I used a "girl" voice, I could get a character to give me an armed escort to power-level, free gold and gear and very 'polite' behavior... even if the avitar was a big ugly male beserker...
Anyway, the point was, it's the perception of gender through voice that allows for a 're-definition' of value for gender that doesn't really work in 1st life... blah blah... =)
