Beta is the Pre-release demo that isnt really late in development,

The developer puts a beta out then looks at community feedback to know what to tweak for different weapons/classes

NERF is when a patch for a game makes a tactic or weapon much, much weaker, usually resulting in nobody using them anymore.

Like, "They NERFed the flaming hunter in L4D, and now you dont do double damage"

Also you can walk right through your teammates, but not enemies, and that includes disguised spies. Also they can't taunt, and a disguised spy takes the name of someone on your team, so if you see someone with your name, its probably a spy.

Well... When you disguise as someone from the opposite team, you automatically get a name from a random member of the team. That name will allways correspond with the class you disguised as. For example, if you're on team Red, and there's a Heavy on team Blue named "couldent think of a name", then if you disguise as a Blue Heavy, and there's only 1 Heavy on team Blue, you're sure to have the name "couldent think of a name". I'm not exactly sure about your own team, you prob get a random name too
