I was a bit disappointed with the Everyday Demons album but it still kicked ass regardless of how much better Rise was, the band can't produce perfect albums all the time, so there's no point whinging about it 'cause not even greats like Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan or Neil Young could continually produce universally liked albums
I'm a bit disappointed with this band... Rise was kickin ass as well all the early demos and outtakes, a true zeppelin - free sound. but the last album is just not the case - the songs became commercial and the band seem to change the vintage sound they had. damn you all record companies...
@TorqueMaster23 they still write and perform great songs and youre VERY VERY wrong just go and turn on your radio for 5 mins and see what commercial is
not much point in comparing The Answer with The Darkness because they are in two completely different genres. The Answer are hard rock/ blues rock and The Darkness are glam rock so way off course.
I wouldn't call this band a led zeppelin rip-off at all ...
But as soon as people start setting their mind on finding problems with anything in this world, they all of a sudden see all kind of stuff, which is not there...
They might be influenced by Zeppelin, but they're nothing close to a rip-off.
Bought their 1st album off the back of hearing a track on a Classic Rock magazine cover disc. 1st time I saw them live was supporting Whitesnake at Rock Ctiy in Nottingham - blew me away and gave the headliners a run for their money. Without doubt one of the best gigs I've seen, and thinking back to it just leave me grinning like an idiot. Fucking ace!
The Answer sounds nothing like Led Zeppelin. Zeppelin was heavily influenced by blues, The Answer is a hard rock band. And Gormac looks nothing like Plant, both just have long hair. Plant was more "feminine" when he was younger, Gormac is a bit edgier. Maybe he is influenced by Plant (the moves), but he's not copying him. Even Plant was influenced by Elvis. The Answer is definitely not a Led Zeppelin rip-off.

these guys fuck the darkness in their latex assess, its about time we had a band who was about the music rather than the fucking emo fringes or being in style with the teens who hate doing homework, the answer are the answer
@homocide231 Well i don't think the darkness were bad, just that justin hawkings guy, wasnt a fan of him really. He was always "look at me look ar me! look im soloing! woo look !" lol
tgrule you mean you're a huge fan of hard rock and metal then , not a rock fan, cause then you would rly appreciate Led Zeppelins' music.Btw ACDC are a great band, but they, imo, they have nothing special and they tend to use the same formula on all their songs. Don't compare these guys to Zeppelin. Were in a whole new generation and I can honestly say I hope these guys start a trend of good music for the future.
This video brings me back.. We were there with the filmcrew, I'm in the crowd somewhere. Oh yeah, that day was cold! My friend's that business guy with the beard, and oh, didn't the skater almost get caught by the police for skating in canary wharf? Hilarious!
Such a brilliant band. One very similar to the great Zeppelin, but only in style. You'll never replace the vocal talent of Plant. They are an example of a great modern band using the best of rocks history to create a fantastic sound, and they look to have a long successful life so I can't wait for the next album.

cormac actually does have a stage presence, maybe not as much as plant, but who does? ive seen these guys in a small gig and going to see them in wembley supporting ACDC. Watch out, this band will be one of the biggest of this generation.
The greatest era and place in music was london in the 60's think about it you can go to a club and see the beatles and the stones, go down the street and see Hendrix and the Who, then the next day go back to the same club and see jeff beck and jimmy page. Then later go across town and see clapton. It was the single greatest era of rock n' roll period.

Amazing band, new bands like Airbourne and These gus need to be promoted on MTV. Its not cool to like this music, thats what teenagers like me get told by people...WELL THEY CAN FUCK THEMSELVES, cos this is real music.
apparently led zeppelin is looking for a new singer to go one tour with and i think this guy would be perfect. i think he would do great singing there songs
they've pulled out of that tour to support AC/DC instead so you won't see them in December :( but they're playing at Camden in February which I'm going to!
Thumbs up if you listen to this stuff in 2012 :D Saw them twice and all I can say is: great band with such a nice live performance on stage

you're TOTALLY wrong dude!
what you are talking about is an in "era" in fashion and attitude and,as you rightly said,in industry.
but music has no "era" and no time, music is art and is timeless.
the people who create "eras" are mainly the ones who create trends in artificially manner.
blues has no "era" ,is the basement of all REAL modern music so it will be play even in 3045 or 4140 who knows?
as well as chopin, liszt, bach, debussy or satie.

Amazing band, new bands like Airbourne and These gus need to be promoted on MTV. Its not cool to like this music, thats what teenagers like me get told by people...WELL THEY CAN FUCK THEMSELVES, cos this is real music.

you're right!
they told teens this hoping they can use their ingenuity in order to sell them any shit they want.
they love prefabricated bands as these bands are not made by real musicians so they can use them like toys.
I think it's time for a revolution, mtv and the fuckin ruling media must become UNCOOL SOON!

100% agreement from me. I no longer watch Much Music (basically Canadian version of MTV)because most of the music sucks.

today's music wouldn't suck so much if these were the guys getting promoted on MTV instead of losers like jonas bros and miley

they've pulled out of that tour to support AC/DC instead so you won't see them in December :( but they're playing at Camden in February which I'm going to!
