Out of curiosity, what's that to the left and right of the model in these shots?
@ColonelSkills Thanks a lot. The thing on the left is the Lego Death Star. It is Lego kit #10188. On the right is my Iron Panda version of Large Martin (by 3A Toys). I did a two part unboxing video for the Large Martin. It's in my list of videos. Part 2 seems to be the one that most people like because the box is out of the way and I show the robot in detail.

this is stupendous. such a great looking piece. i think it was severly overpriced however. im glad someone bought it though, so he could share it with all of us on youtube!

Haha, oh well, my wife and I really enjoy it. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Now it's your turn to buy one of the QMx Enterprise Replicas ;) Those are only $5000 a pop.

I had seen this replica before and although I loved it I couldn't justify the money.. I liked firefly and loved serenity.. But I guess my appreciation for that universe just wasn't high enough to afford the price tag. Today however I have ordered an artisan Adama viper from BSG. I hold that series very close to my heart so the price is justified, and judging by the quality of your serenity i hope I'm in for a treat. Good video man, great ship.
@Fenlock56 Thanks Fenlock56!! I think the BSG Viper looks astonishing. It is being made by the same artisans that crafted our BDR (FX co.). My wife and I have been thinking about ordering one ourselves but we promised we would only do one extravagant purchase every 2 years, so we are waiting a little longer to decide. I'm betting you will be absolutely floored when you get your Viper. Can you shoot some video of yours after you get it? I'd love to see some video or pics.
@yamata86 yeah i will mate, it said "in stock" when i ordered it - so im hoping it wont take too long. I'll post some videos when i get it!. How long did yours take btw? although i realize the BDR's are built to order so would take longer.
@Fenlock56 When we ordered, it took 9 months total. We used the elayaway for 4 months (if I remember right), so no work was done on it while we paid through that 4 months. So really just 5 months of waiting to get into the build queue, building, and finally shipping.
I believe they have already built several of the Adama and Starbuck Editions of the Viper, so yours should ship soon. I can't wait to see your videos!!! I hope your Viper surpasses all your expectations.

Thanks for the extradetailed runthrough. I have a couple questions. Is the cockpit detailed as well? And are the charicters distinguishable from one another and cleary Mal and the crew? And lastly what other options were in the ordering process? You've got a beautiful peice here. Thanks again for spending your time on my questions!
@halo3cod4assanscreed Besides the shuttles, you could have reactor doors open or closed on the tail. You could also have the engines put into the Crazy Ivan config. They were also open to other customizations you thought up on your own, you just had to ask and they would determine if they could do it. The bridge is pretty detailed. You can determine who is who by what they are wearing. Their clothes match publicity photos.
Thanks for the extra detail walkthrough. Are the charicters in the cockpit fully painter and/or distinguishable as charicters from the series? And what other options did you have when ordering? All in all this is a beautiful peace. Thanks
