  • i love them (well, love hate them) i got three surefires, i don't own any other flashlight, still i maintain it's over priced.

  • I don't need to defend Surefire, and I don't get paid (or get free lights) to say this..

But for those who it may not be obvious to..

R&D is part of a products cost

Anyone can sit around while INNOVATORS create new technology and bring new products to ths market..

Then steal the design and copy them cheap selling them for much less

I am proud that Surefire is here in the US and not somewhere else

And I, for one, am happy to support US companies

  • to keep the price down? they for real, they charge over $200 for this dinky thing, FENIX is better value for money. don't get me wrong, I own three surefires

  • You also posted on at least three of our videos so far..

Almost seems like you have something against Surefire

I have never had a Surefire fail with normal use.. when life depends on it I want my light to work, not to be left in the dark content that I saved a few dollars

You are entiltled to your opnion, but I doubt Surefire got to where they are by foolong anyone

They are the #1 light comapany because they make good lights, not economy lights

  • Good stuff man. One of the best, if not THE best, flashlight companies in the world.

  • they are not inexpencive, but when your life depends on it, their price is relativly insignifagant IMO

These lights are made to work well, under any condidtions, and take heavy use. For these jobs Surefire is about the best stuff out there

For locating lost keys under the bed, or looking for the cat, there are less expencive lights that can do the job

  • very true. i would only go with surefire. i have a 900 on my rifle a 300 on my sidearm and a 8ax. they have taken a beating especially the 8ax and they still work perfectly. i would have paid double($1000) for the 900. that thing is perfect

  • Don't give them any ideas!! hah.

  • @thetrashrabbit

i had to dump the 8ax, LEDs have taken over. the LX2 is insane ihear surefire is coming out with a whole new line of LEDs that are all rechargeable.

  • I gotta say, if the lights just stood there, i might drop one in my pocket.. :P

lol, anyways, i just love surefire, but they are soo fcking expensive..!

  • more than 200 dollars..............damn

  • cool video.

    thanks.

  • This guy says "uh..." way to much. Makes the presentation seem low end.

  • I would NOT agree, this was not a rehearsed speech.. I asked him for a run through with no advanced warning. In fact I think all the Surefire people knew their products very well..

  • so do airline pilots....

  • well their products are high quality

I don't have a knife of theirs, but our crew all use their handheld lights, we also use their suppressors and weaponlights.. it's all top quality. It might not have as many 'features' as other companies, but they can take a lot of abuse and still work.. that's worth something IMO

  • $239 for the Titan aluminum? Surefire's MSRPs are a little unrealistic sometimes.

  • yea, great product, but a little expensive.

  • The material, Titanium has always been expensive to come by.
