Actually the SSD is *slowing* down the eee, (well, the 4GB on the 701/4G series anyway).
Cheap SSD's are actually way slower than HD's - just try running any benchmark program, mine tops out at 27mb/s transfer rate (vs. 80mb/s for my desktop)
Oh, and yeah, this video is just speeded up ... lame!!! My 701/4G boots from off to ready to use in 45s.
Why did you speed it up? The Eee PC boots really fast without having to exaggerate it! I do love these little machines though, great aren't they?

Yeah, it is totally fake, but my Eee PC takes about 11 seconds to boot, not 20. When I run linux it boots in about 8

Yes, it does take around 20 secs but only with the stripped down Xandros installed. This is a fake, anyone can see that.
