We Jesus had a beard because the gospel says the guards ripped it out.
The bible says he looked like a typical guy for his setting. "We esteamed him not" is how Isaiah describes ha mashia. and after they beat him he was repulsive. "a bruised reed". Yes, probably dark skin, dark curly hair, dark eyes. But none of that matters...what matters is what he looks like shining out of his children. He wants to live in you if you let him, and make your character what it was always supposed to be.

Ok, just to clear up some points about Jesus being blonde...truth is since He didnt leave any pictures behind, no one truly knows what Jesus truly looked like. The pics we see of Him are derived from original paintings of what the artist thought innocence would/should look like. But a more accurate description can be found in studying the looks of ancient Jewish men. Dark hair, rich olive tone skin and dark eyes. Other than that we dont truly know. But the gospel is what Johnny wantd u to know.

yeah man, we all know Jesus wasnt blonde, but Cash wasnt trying to make a historically perfect film, was just the message behind it and the music ya know?
