  • nice neat policemen hard but fair a bit outdated for the seventies despite being an ofspring from the original gritty z cars still would be worth seeing out on dvd for nostalga's sake and the fact that it would stand head and shoulder above to cop dramas on the box in 2011

  • takes me back to my childhood sitting in the lounge with my dad in the early 70's. a time of great happiness, security and freedom. also of individuality and great quality programming on TV. i miss those days, when Britain really did seem great as a kid.

    thanks

    ATV Midlands.

  • My childhood.

  • I think you mean Walter Gotell

  • In between working for the KGB, General Gogol helped out police forces in the north of England.

  • At 0.25 the bridge over the railway looks like Willesden Jn.

  • In the titles looks like the M2 Bridge over the Medway river and I think I saw Rochester Cathedral.

  • This reminds me of when I was on a school trip to Rochester Castle some time in the late 60s. Part of the castle was occupied by a film crew. We were told they were filming for Softly Softly.

As this is the credits for the 1973 series I'm afraid I can't jump up and down shouting "I was there, I was there!" like I did when I was a kid.
