It's kind of attached to her. She can't take it off. It already fused with her. She has a Rune Crest, though, so she doesn't have to worry about it turning her into an Exsphere anymore.

Actually in one of the skits in TOS 2 they talk about how after Collete became famous they made it a law to make things dull so she doesnt hurt herself!!

First of all, I'm a woman. Secondly, I'm not Japanese fluent, so I can't verify whether your claim is true. I merely made a statement based on the information I knew to be true at the time. But given the shaky state of Sylvarant as a country, to make a law so that one person, an angel at that, doesn't hurt herself seems pretty trivial. For all we know, Colette could have looked hurt because of the emotional pain of having met a citizen of the city she helped destroy.

In the beginning, Aisha (I think it's her) and Colette are talking, and I'm assuming Colette was asking if Lloyd had come to Asgard, and Aisha apologizes and says she didn't see him. Then Emil asks if Colette is the Chosen, and Marta suddenly interrogates her, asking if she was the one who caused Palmacosta to be destroyed 2 years ago. Colette says it's true, and Marta yells at her, saying it's her fault her mom died because her mom was in Palmacosta at the time. She also tells Colette that if

she didn't decide to do the Journey of Regeneration, or (I think...) if Colette didn't exist at all, Marta's mother would be alive. Afterwards, Colette simply apologizes and Marta leaves thereon after. I hope that clears things up a bit. :/ I don't know japanese too well, but I know how it feels to watch something and dearly want to know what they're saying, so I hope this helps some people. Please correct me if I make any mistakes.

To correct and add a few things:

Marta asks Colette if it's true that the Giant Tree/Monster-like thing destroyed Palmacosta because she ran away from/failed the World Regeneration. Colette says that it's true. Marta flips, and tells her that because of that her mother died. All Colette could do was apologize. Marta then runs away...

She doesn't say anything about Colette not existing or doing the World Regeneration... She just yells at her asking her what a Chosen is supposed to be.
