Videowave programs will be soon available through several sources. The 256 program archive of Videowave from Diehausfrauen to Lene Lovich to Lydia Lunch to Sloan will be available on VHS and DVD.
Tim Sommers had a definite attitude problem that day. He was annoyed that he had to interview local bands of the local psychedleic scene instead of touring bands.
This conflicted with my impression of him as WNYC DJ 3 years previously. There was won over by electic repetoire.
My main interviewer Merle Ginsberg had recommended him after saying she could do no more for Videowave. It was intimated that Tim was Merle's ex or current love interest.
It doesn't seem like Tim believes Michael Jay when he claims the band applied to the State to be able to use Pilgrim State mental institution for filming. He seems to get kinda intimidated after Michael Jay makes that claim (listen to him gulp nervously at 00:457/04:52)! Hee hee.
Does anyone know whatever happened to Michael Jay?

Part 2
So Time Sommers attitude surprised me. What didn't surprise me was that he never returned any calls to return as my interviewer.
