Hi redstartn, Just to let you know that I saw both Slayer and WASP during the Monsters of Rock Tour 1992 - Donnington to be precise and I ACTUALLY DID sleep through Slayer who were on before WASP played. Couldnt even tell you if Slayer were bad or REALLY bad as I was asleep after about the first 5 mins of their set.

I like WASP and i like MOTLEY CRUE of the bands he mentioned, oh yeah and RATT, i know they are different but i really like both styles.

Actually i read once that Nikki Sixx and Blackie were in the same band once i think it was The New York Dolls but Nikki left because he thought that they were both leaders and would end up fighting for their own ideas.

Blackie is/was one of the most underrated musicians of that period. WASP was brilliant. Blackie has really grown spiritually since the early days - it's great to be able to hear the changes in the music over the years.
