  • @2291chainsaw good one, bro.

  • hmm... not the easiest technique, but it's good

  • nope, he will never be in that position with hands on your belly it's just stupid for him to do that. you can just push him :S

  • would be good if u could actually hear them talking instead of this gay music

  • Ha ha! Well, if you speak Swedish sure but I since most people don't I put some music over it.

Dude, the gay-stuff you read to things is some closet-emotions that needs to be worked out! =) Do you often find yourself calling sounds, tastes, colors etc gay?

But at the same time you are totally cool with wearing tiny shorts and hug another guy in weird positions on the mat for hours? Really??? =)

    Thanks for the comment anyway!

  • well played my friend.. well played!

  • @majbritt1 il talk swedish i am swedish xD

  • Thanks for your reply.

I do like reaching back with my R arm (when I have right side control on an opponent) to trap (crucifix) his right arm between my legs.

But, I think that reaching your right arm under an opponents body (when he has you in side control) is a last resort (or even a bad habit), as your opponent can do so many things (like transition to north-south) if your right arm gets stuck underneath him.

But, to each his own, and thanks for the post - if I find myself trapped.

  • I respect Lars alot, but most (? all) opponents are not so loosey-goosey when they have you in side control.

I can't imagine any opponent (who is good enough to side mount me) who is also lazy enough to just let his right hand lie there (at 0:17).

    Sorry, just my humble opinion.

  • OK? We thought it would be easier to show this move in a relaxed way so that you could see the details but this technique is in a sequence of 4 other moves depending on where the opponent places his arms. It is up the the opponent where and how he places his arms so to speak.

Watch it again as I'm sure you you will discover that they

are not really brawling while filming this clip.

But again , it may not be a clip that fits you of course?

  • @majbritt1 Well, I understand where cburcinc is coming from. If we could see the other hand/arm positions, it would be good, too. We are taught never to leave our arms like that, I believe is what he meant. So, he, as well as I, would like a couple of the variations you discussed as well. DO you have more? Thank you!!!

  • @cburcinc

It is one of varius chances to escape. All technisc must be done with automtism
