You notice how this "informative" discussion is set up so that they only talk about tactics while assuming that we all agree on the strategy, i.e. a military solution with a big US footprint in Central Asia is necessary to deal with the problem?

The only time they even come close to talking about strategic, as opposed to tactical, issues is when Zurati (4:00) keeps saying over and over again "It's a difficult process to explain," as a way to avoid really talking about it in a useful way.
