Why should the world feel guilty about the Germans who died in Dresden? The Germans started the war, didn't they? The German killing machine had gone around murdering, maiming and pillaging. All the Germans who supported Hitler deserved to die for supporting Hitler and the deaths of the innocent should be blamed on them as well. War is hell and shit happens in it. For a long time, the Germans were doing the killing and everybody else was doing the dying. At Dresden, it was their turn to die.

He is a historian with numerous sources, but he also believes questionable sources today, like Korherr report, decoded 'messages' from MI5, Eichmann 'confessions', Hoess 'confessions to Nuremberg', "limited gassings", and a far too high number of Einsatzgruppen reprisal executions. Calling him a revisionist or denier, proves a narrow and extreme mind, Irving is not a fanatic. His enemies are. Most historical revisionists are liberal.
