I got this phone on a deal, what a con. Ok I quite like the video as it plays back at I think 29fps and doesn't look jerky, but it is a weak phone, and that I have had to buy a case to keep it protected in, as the back of the case is very weak.

It has frozen on me and blacked out a good few times, so far recharging has got it working again, in all honesty my old Sony Ericsson K800i was a much better and reliable phone. I am sorry I got it from 3 Mobile, I can't get a signal in my flat.

I have this phone, and I have to say that it is a really good phone. I'm not a huge photo-taker, but with this phone I do it all the time, as it has the best camera features I've ever had on a phone. It comes with Carl Zeiss optics (doesn't mean shi*t to me though) and has an autofocus, and will also auto-detect whether the flash needs to be used.

Great for people who want everything an iphone has except for the over-excessive potential for apps. All hail Nokia!

I just checked where you live, which is in the UK, so as I'm Australian, I can't really tell if our networks are the same. I'm on the 3 network, and I have 3.5G reception at the very moment. I personally never have problems with my reception, and sometimes get better reception on m phone than my friends do on rival phone networks.

I'm not sure how much it has to do with the phone, and how much it has to do with the network coverage, but for me, the reception seems fine.

@heavenly27angel There is no wrong with this phone at all. It is the Apple sekt that try to talk bad about it, because they now it's a better phone in every aspect. The Maemo 5 OS is as fast as IPhone OS. And you can customize your homescreens. You cannot do that with the IPhone.

my biggest mistake was buy the 5800, what a load of crap.. email and web broswing was very bad, phone qulity was poor.. most of all its the software which kills nokias smart phones.. nokia still made great normal phones like 6700, 8800 etc. but there smart phones try to be too smart, and cant delever what Android OS and iphone has.. By the end of 2010 nokia will make massive losses unless it makes a good OS or uses Android

I bought Nokia 5800 XpressMusic as well. Out of the box it freezes on applications that are provided with the phone. Quality of finishes are horrible. 8 days after I bought the phone I accidentally dent the plastic touch screen. I've always had and loved Nokia phones. However, Nokia 5800 is the worst phone ever.
