They made SMG as Kendall a teenager and then they sorrased SMG as Kendall to be an adult. ROFL! I remember this scene!! :)

Was she supposed to be a teenager here? I've read that AMC planned for Kendall to come on as a 16-year-old but fans protested that it wouldn't make sense given Kendall was born in the 60's. So they made her 23, but IDK when they did that because she looks to be a teen here. I mean, I know SMG WAS a teen at the time, but she appears to be playing a teen in this scene too.

@mckenzie0806 They did it in the middle of the storyline. Kendall was 16, and then suddenly she was 23. You can tell how they try to dress her older for awhile. So she was actually 17 playing a 23 year old.

Alicia Minshew is the only Kendall I know since I started watching in 2001. I'm watching earlier scenes to learn more about AMC's history. I think I prefer AM to SMG though it's hard to compare the two.

I knew because I'd been watching soaps for a couple of years by that point and understood how they worked. I first saw SMG in Swan's Crossing and thought she'd make a perfect SORASed Bianca, so I knew as soon as I saw her on AMC that she was Erica's daughter, even though I was wrong about her being cast as Bianca. It was funny that SMG had to play about 8 years older than her actual age.
