WHY DOES AT&T DONATE MONEY TO GET RICK PERRY ELECTED??? Since 2000, AT&T has given Perry $462,739.00 What's more, AT&T spent $18,349 to sponsor a lunch last December at a conservative summit and distribute 700 copies of Fed Up!, Perry's book which contains some of his most dangerous ideas! Just another reason to DUMP AT&T $ERVICES. PERRY opposes marriage equality, abortion rights, and even the federal income tax.
So, a bunch of T-Mobile costumers out there don't seem to get it. T-Mobile WANTS to be bought out by AT&T. You nay not want them to be bought out, but they do. Make Sense? To sum it up, T-Mobile doesn't want you anymore. I'm not even going to sugar coat it. Talk about lack of innovation! T-Mobile doesn't even want to be in the U.S. business anymore, if they were left alone, they would not continue to innovate. If the deal want through, at least it means better service on both sides.
@gumby2440 its not that they dont want us anymore...its because t-mobile is doing horrible in the cell phone industry. They would need to merge if they didnt want to go bankrupt.
An AT&T legal staffer inadvertently (and briefly) posted a damning internal document to the FCC's docket for the pending AT&T/T-Mobile merger. The document makes it clear that "AT&T is giving Deutsche Telekom $39 billion primarily to reduce market competition" and that the company's claims of bigger network buildouts and increased employment are utterly fictional.
Consumer are getting the short stick everytime. We have voip now so why is that we are constantly paying overprices of voice and text, Textfree is a voip that offers free texting and voice on android and ios. Both apps free. Tmobile has best contract to use these apps on and is about to get samsung hercules, why put out new phone to attract ppl when they are mergering with the enemy. It is like a fly telling its buddies to fly into a web just to get trapped by the spider.
Tmobile is completion keep price down, face it metro, boost, cricket, all small companys with limited coverage and just ok phones. The best phone on top networks and you are already paying the value of phone off in 4 months well for another 20 months you are just giving money away at high rates for 39.99 for voice and dont even you it that much.Tmobile gives you on prepaid unlimited data with 4g speed up till 2gb and at 50 dollars including text and voice.
Higher data plan rates, useless voice minutes that no one uses really. all plans over 60 dollars including tax. Worst prepaid data plan ever. Even worse for att customers because it is stated they can make changes to contract at any time. Read the fine print. All we are going to get is more problems out att. Was on att with iphone only reason but always went over my 15 data plan and i watched how much i used it. Charge u for everything. Tmobile is just now getting good phones and want to merge.
Well, at least T-Mobile gets the iPhone now... On 4G... Can't wait to see that... America's Largest and Biggest Network Carrier with the iPhone 5... Wow...
Sadly this video refelcts exactly what happened when my bank mergered with another several years back since then I've been paying more in banking fees for a hell of alot less, and they're jacking the costs again come agust 1st. It's very sad that this video rings true and chances are it will happen with the merger of these two companies, they won't care what the customers think because the customers will have less choice on where to go and will be stuck paying more for less.
AT&T, when they acquired Cingular in 2005, promised our phones and plans would be supported. Our phones were shut off six months later. Anyone who believes they'll still support TM customers (like me) after the acquisition (it ain't a merger, people) is naive.
I assure you the second AT&T has an opportunity to raise my rate they will. I've been a T-Mobile customer for almost 10 years now and i've never had a problem with their service or their pricing. This is the opposite of all my friends on AT&T and other carriers.
The only thing this merger offers me is less choice and worse service... anyone who thinks otherwise is being naieve.
@pingzdotcom please tell me how your service will get worse? with the 2 companies combined together your coverage will be better, and ATT customer care will get better because they WILL be adapting tmobiles customer service standards and you wont be forced into a new rate plan until your contract expires, and furthermore do people not realize that the united states is the only country that subsidizes phone cost goto Europe and you will be paying full price for your phone
Propaganda much??? these to dingbats wern't in class when they were teaching "listening" at the Senator's hearing both att and t-mobile said rates won't go up, even if the customer upgrades the phone.....which makes this video null and void...okay, now going to watch next video to knock it down also...
@giantcandy Just because they said that now doesn't mean that will be what happens when the deal goes through. If they suddenly decide to honor that deal great, but it's naive to imply that a corporation would never go back on its word. History is full of examples of them doing just that.
@IBelieveinDayDreams it's naive to think that the government will just let them do whatever when the deal goes thru, it won't go thru unless concessions are made, just like xm/Sirius merger or comcast/nbc mergers, concession had to be made...i didn't like the comcast/nbc merger at first, i had to get on a different package because of that, but now i realize ..more money..more green-lit pilots..more chances of better tv.
@giantcandy ...you mean the government that can't do anything about our debt ceiling right now? The government that is burying us in wars in other countries and giving tax breaks to their already wealthy supporters? THAT government?
@bearhawkboston so your saying government shouldn't get involved? so okay...then all mergers all go thru always without consesions and they run a muck..yeah cause that will go smoothly...i'm not saying the government has my back..but they will try...FCC, yes they aren't the awesome...DOJ, whatevs, both of them are probably out of touch when it comes to figuring it all out..but i would rather have them, then not..mob rule is more chaos, would u want the private sector to handle the merger?????
@giantcandy I'm not saying that the government shouldn't be there for us, after all, that IS what we pay them for, right? I just haven't been especially impressed with their performance when it comes to getting my back, so I guess what I meant was that we should not just assume that they were going to operate with our best interests at heart when it comes to choosing between the lowly consumer and big corporate bucks.
@bearhawkboston I concede your point, but idk...maybe we all are screwed if the deal does go thru...but maybe we'll get lower prices and better coverage..that's what i'm hoping for....
@Jay21fire ATT is already advertising that they are partnered with T-mo. So who knows...? In the end its the customers and tmo employees that will get hurt.
