No, Vegas obviously does not have the same capabilities that AE has, but there are many different methods you can use to achieve one result. Like I said, I'm not trying to offend... I actually really appreciate all you do for this game, but Vegas can actually be a pretty effective tool. The problem is that most people making the "montages" think that adding a ton of pointless effects and textures and filters make them a "good editor."

@savage8008 Vegas is a non-linear editing environment that should be compared to Adobe PREMIERE not after effects. After Effects is a motion graphics and compositing tool, for achieving effects like the ones I use in my videos. Like I originally said, vegas(or premiere) are suitable for arranging video clips, After Effects is more suitable for creating effects and composition. You can use either for the "other" purpose, but your workflow would be compromised!
