Beautifully said, and I've been in some unfulfilling relationships where the MAN was super independent, and didn't know how to let me play my role (til they lost me). I understand you are trying to reach females for the better, but you will hurt them by painting a perfect picture of bm, while setting a flame to the bw reputation. Q. Bw are aware that they need men, but they don't need a man that refuses to man up. The infamous "I dont need a man" isn't about glorifying the death of men, but a voice of subconsious confirmation cry for the many of bw that have to do it alone. [ I will not die because a bm walked out on me] Yes, they need men, but do men know this? You ask the bw to become self sufficiant across the board, but turn away from the IDNAM syndrome? How would you suggest she balance to two parallels?

I truly appreciate your thoughtful insight on this topic sis especially from a young black woman. But here's the problem. It is my observation and opinion that black women truly have no interest in doing their part to solve the problem between BM and BW. They simply want to talk about, rant and rave and co-sign each others bullshit. I believe this problem will only be solved by BM and unfortunately that means leaving a generation or two or more American black women alone altogether.
