@Wilsonboy0528 I have to agree, but disagree at the same time. Videos on the 1st gen nano: well, the screen is to small anyways, and the battery life would drown like crazy. Apple wants a good user expirience for their buyers, so they want a stable ipod, not one that loses battery life very fast. Another reason is marketing. Why would they want to progress that fast? introducing one new feature at a time is simple marketing. It makes money!!

To stinkomalinko: iPodlinux is not just used for playing videos on older version iPods, it has many freeware differences to the Apple original firmware. Some people prefer Linux over Apple due to personal experience. If you have absolutely no idea what iPodLinux is, don't go around bashing people who prefer it simply due to personal taste.

To alcye4jensen: it is not linux for a computer, it is iPodLinux specifically made for iPod. If you try putting Linux for PC on an iPod,it will die painfully.

im happy with my modded 5.5g ipod! (installed ipod linux and rockbox)

i might bet the iTouch but im not sure if im willing to pay $300-$400 just for a fifferent GUI interface and a touchscreen. im pretty sure the GUI will be ported to the regular ipods when the iTouch gets hacked so im not worried about that.

and i dont like having to use WiFi. i will just use my psp when im around wifi places
