  • Mr. Collins from the 1995 version is the best, and the worst. Genius

  • Best part at 8:03.

  • Okay, I demand as a Dark Lord of the Sith, that you put up a video of Mrs. Bennet from the 1995 version crying after Lizzie rejects Collins proposal. THAT WAS FUNNY!

  • Its CICERO!!!

  • 1995 had the best lizzie, Mr Collins, Mr Bennett and DEFINATELY Mrs Bennett!

  • Let's not forget- Colin = fit :P

  • The 1995 is definitely the best by far. They really stick to the book, and I the acting is definitely better. I'm not very familiar with the earliest one that you showed, but Keira acts too modern and the 1995 mr Collins is just brilliant. He's so arrogant and conceited, he does his part really well. - my opinion :)

  • "And your wit and vivacity, which I think must be acceptable to her, when tempered with your silence and respect, which her rank will inevitably excite...." HAHAHAH 1995 Mr. Collin's always gives me a great laugh. The smugness, and overall, uneasiness, is rich with awkwardness.

  • He's supposed to be tall...

  • This has got to be one of the funniest scenes in pride and prejudice. I love how you combined all 3 versions. Thanks

  • The 2005 version made it a bit look like Cutler Beckett proposes to Elizabeth (again)....and gets recjected.

    What a surprise.

  • Awesome combination of the various scenes.

  • in the hollywood version he sound like he's just reading lines

  • This is hilarious!

  • Wow this is BRILLIANT :D

  • Ooooh, Mr. BENNET!

Hehe, how I love how different these characters are, yet their chemistry, in the book and on the screen, is so well done. <3

  • although I like the 2005 version, I do have to admit that there are some scenes that are jarringly different than anything austen would write, the BBC version is the truest one.

  • best collins 95!

  • the 1995 version is by far the best of all <3 Colin Firth

  • Mr Collins is my favourite character so funny and awkward NAWWW ^.^

  • The 1995 'And I will never see you again if you do' is the best. And this just totally misses out on it.. Sad times.

  • there are too much Mr Collins and too few Mr Darcy in life :S ...

  • You cannot beat 1995 Mr Collins

  • La mejor versión, 2005.

  • totally agree david balmer was perfect in the part

  • I really dislike how the 1940s one has very Victorian costumes in it...plus that Mr Collins was utterly buffoonish. My favourite is David Bamber (his creepiness is unforgettable even after not watching the series for years) though Tom Hollander seems a good Collins as well.

  • i love that 2005 version. keira is so wonderful and tom is pitiful and cute at the same time. i actually cry when i look that scene. sound funny i know :)

  • But he's still a creeper. Instead of picking the girl most suited for him (Mary) he went first for Jane, the prettiest, then Lizzie, the second prettiest.

  • My favourite Mr Collins out of the three presented is David Bamber from 1995 version. The guy from 1940 plays him too much as a bafoon, while from 2005 too little. 1995 is just perfect. Not to mention Mr Bamber plays the character in a very creepy way. You perfectly understand why Lizzie is apalled by the idea.

  • I agree. The casting and almost everthing else in the 1995 version is perfect. I cant see it being bettered.

  • I think Tom is too handsome to play Mr. Collins. In the book he's described in a very unattractive manner.

  • Tom Hollander is the best Mr. Collins ever...<3

  • WHERES THE BOLLYWOOD VERSION

    Bride and prejudice

    Mr kholi was the best!

  • I love it. Hilarious!

  • Great job splicing those clips together. Mr. Collin's stupid proposal is always funny in any film version.

  • Lizzie is a "rustic" silly ... should be married with Mr. Collins.

Mr. Collins 1995 and 2005 are very beautiful

  • 96' you mean

  • 96 not...

Mr. Collins 1995 and Mr. Collins 2005

  • The 1995 Mr. Collins is by far the creepiest O_o..

  • The costumes in the 1940's version look a little ahead of time.

  • 2005 was the best one ever made for Pride and Prejudice i wish they made the full book as a series with the same actors and keeping the scenes from the 2005 one.

  • AMAZING ! thank you so much. its absolutely perfect :P ha ha ha! i cant stand that man, and her father is my hero.

  • Tom Hollander is the best Creeper-i mean-Mr. Collins ever. ♥

  • It's quiet funny how short tom hollander is. but he's cute and actually quiet sexy <33.

especiallt in POTC <333 Love him!

  • If Tom Hollander asked me in marriage, I would say yes (and I'm so not a "weeding" person)! <3

  • 1995 Mr. Collins is so creepy! o.O

  • at 3:56 they are totally ripping off Tom Hollander's hight! He's only 5 foot 5

  • Well, he was kneeling while she was standing:)..

  • Yeah, but even in the ballroom scene he was the shortest guy there by at least a foot and a half.

  • lol, I always thought that they usually cast tall people, regardless of the talent if these people were not supposed to speak..

But I can't really remember if Mr. Collins is supposed to be short in the novel..

  • I havn't actually read the novel. It's one of those things that I've been meaning to do but have never quite go around to it.

  • in the novel he's supposed to be a tall guy i think. So the 1940's should be the closest to the description phisically

  • OH thank you so much! This is probably the most enjoyable part.

  • 1940's sucked, 1995 was okay, and 2005 was amazing. i loved that movie. tom hollander is totally the best mr. collins.

  • The 1995 version was the best

  • HAHA!!! That's hilarious!

Mr. Collins is my favorite creepy character... :) Great editing BTW!!!

  • LOL love the 2005 version lol he is so short

  • lol, I can't get over the 1940s outfits! :P

  • This is amazing. Good job!

  • Mrs. Bennet is funny in all three!

  • Great video!

  • 1940s FTW!!! Great vid, by the way! I played Mr. Collins in school, and it's my favorite part to date!

  • Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful!

I love Collins; he's so adorable creepy.

    :)

  • This is wonderful, especially combinations of Lizzie's refusal-lines,reasons of Mr Collins for marriage and Ms Bennet reaction)) Thank you,zippyC3

  • You are very, very welcome! :)
