What you seem to fail to realize is that large numbers of people in the UK do not realize the seriousness of the threat of islam. Yeah, islamic extremism should be fought with christian extremism! So what do we do when the christians rule everything? Outlaw abourtion? Outlaw homosexuality? Oitlaw masturbation? It's just trading one religion with another. How about we all grow up? Youtube should say to those islamic people when they come, "no". Just "no". That's all. That's what we should do everywhere.

It's not Islam that is the problem. Its religion in general. Or, rather, religion which seeks to impose its will on everyone else, or stifle freedom of speech. In western countries, that is usually Christianity and Islam, or at least the extreme forms of both. Islam is just one piece of the problem. Look at the way the Christian right in the USA influenced the last US government.

Atheist-ruled west, are you serious? Something like 90% of America believes in God. You're delusional.
Oh, and the Soviet Union was a TOTALITARIAN STATE, not an Atheist state. There is no logical causal chain that starts with lack of belief and ends with ANY action.

strategus999, its not about committing acts of terror. Its all about the controlling nature of religion. People do not want to live their lives by a moral code which does not interest them, yet religious groups try to influence politicians to incorporate religious ethics in to what should be secular laws.

what the hell can we do alot of the time? i agree we need to stop enabling them but when you say we need to stop them are you reffering to our country or us as individuals. because our own law defends these fools so i would face jail time doing anything that would not be "pussyfooting"

In the USA, our law defends their right to believe what they want - it doesn't require us to *respect* those beliefs or let them be enforced as law. In fact, enforcing belief as law is directly in contradiction of the Constitution.
I don't know of an analog for this in the UK, but I sincerely hope there is one.

Technically we don't have free speech in the UK Freeplay. The European Union wants to introduce blasphemy laws in addition to the hate crime laws that are already in force. To me, hate is a subjective subject and why we can't use existing laws to protect people I don't know. How can anyone offend a religion? We have unelected Lords in Parliament such as lord ahmed who recently threatened to rally 10,000 muslims if the Geert Wilder's video was shown here. Worrying indeed!

We can do what other countries do. I'm not going to advocate riots here but I can forsee this happening by summer in the UK Heavy pressure on those in power is one alternative. Keep pressure up on your MP, your Euro MP and network with others to get petitions to Downing St etc.
