Dead Space, which was designed specifically to take advantage of the iDevices' abilities while minimizing their weaknesses, and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. The latter has its controls a bit tacked on, but they work and the game is very compelling.

One thing im not understanding here is mobile game apps are supposed to "outdo" the psp/nintendo ds because of how cheap yet on par there supposed to be...this one is already hitting $7 and its not even 1/10 the quality of Kingdom Hearts BBS- imagine the pale in comparison to the vita. Have you played Infinity Blade? This is one of the best games for OSx because iPhone/iPad/iPod games are made to be simple and fun, it's horrible to play a game with buttons on the screen, games like that you play on a DS or a PSP, your gaming vision is terrible. If you want buttons, buy a Playstation Phone

@NeoWordx Why do Apple fanboyz have the communication skills of 10 year olds? I'm considering an iPad purchase. I played IB on my girlfriend's iPad2 & it was just OK. Not great or compelling as are most games in the genre. It's pretty to look at. And it's mildly challenging but it lacked character developement & story depth. Kind of dull to a seasoned gamer. It's no Crysis or Skyrim but IB2 looks to be more engaging than IB. I hope there are better games than just sword play.

this game isn't exactly my type of swordfighting game, but it seems like a step in the right direction. very few close combat games have a good parry/block system. props to you guys
