  • Why are Ron Paul supporters so intelligent? They fully understand the issues and Ron's positions. People vote for Barack because he's good looking or he's black and he says "Change" but changes nothing.

  • Ron Paul 2012 BABY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "When you drive around the parking lot out there -- nothing but Ron Paul signs. We've seen two McCain signs out there. These are the dyed in the wool people right here, they hear the cry of liberty and freedom."

    Time 7:20

  • Ron Paul 2012 ~Woot~!

  • Ron Paul had more people at his rally then the GOP did. Who cares if the GOP doesn't want us. Let's have our own rallys.

  • These elections have been completely stolen from the American people.

The American people have been spoon feed ad forced to only ave Obama or McCain, yet McCain lost every debate Ron Paul was in, raised far less money, and to top it off the automated polling didn't even mention Ron Paul to give people the option of polling for him. What crap, write in who you really want, and remember voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.

  • Yeah, for the win!

  • k3nd00d (10 minutes ago) "GO ahead and count on most of us moving on and count on us supporting Obama."

This has been our point all along. Most of the Rp's never were actually republicans or involved in party politics at the "grass" roots level. You were fed your talking points and agendas and didn't sway from them. Why not go grow your team in the Constitution Party or Libertarian Party? This is what most of you "claim" to represent.

  • Boy ignorance IS bliss. What, as you say most of us "claim" to represent is pretty much what George W. Bush ran on in his 1st term AND WON! No nation building, non-intervention, less taxes, etc. This has been the platform of Reps since Bob (4get his last name/Mr. Republican - there's a statute of him in DC & he wanted us out of NATO) Ronald Reagan & Mr. Conservative himself, Sen. Barry Goldwater. It is Obama's ppl who r newcomers to the political arena & are for CHANGE<-(?) The 'good' kind =)

  • Thank you ever so much for posting this video with all those well-spoken young people. I am afraid I am too old or too out-of-it to understand most of the above comments, but I am a Republican who will write in Ron Paul for President this Nov. As a New Yorker, does anyone have Ron Paul contacts in Manhattan for me?

  • check out ronpaul . meetup . com

  • GO ahead and count on most of us moving on and count on us supporting Obama. It is your delusion, have fun. See you next time.

  • "the shimmer of being someone" <- Is that what you think the rEVOLution's about?! Ron Paul or not, this is a movement. Might as well get used to it. The American people are waking up! For some, it'll take a lil longer. Some will be awoken by our next president & events. Some are still asleep (not you). And yet others

are brainwashed (lookin strait at yOu) But I'm sure there's a de-programmer or two among RP supporters. Personally, I'm tiring of 'so called' Americans who support tyranny, myself.

  • It's disgusting what the McCain people have been doing but this isn't over by a damn sight.

  • Try to keep it civil and don't betray your lack of decorum by resorting to "retard" comments. This is what is great about politics and specifically the Republican party. Not once have I spoke of pushing you out of the party or denying you a voice. I don't have that power or want it. That is the Dems. Ask your self when you last heard a Pro-Life Dem speak at any large Dem gathering? RP's are the new kid on the block no doubt. Don't give everyone the finger and then try to make friends.

  • I am not tryng to make friends with neo-cons. Say goodbye to your day in the sun.

  • Yes votegop57- what he SAID! :-PPPP

I shed TEARS at the convention and so did many old-time republicans who were ASHAMED of the GOP tactics to prevent free speech, political debate and gentlemanly discourse. K3nd00d, let's not give up but I'm with you buddy, the neo-cons are $hit on a stick.

  • I am not making smart ass remarks. Additionally, I know Dr. Paul will not get the nomination. You fail to understand a thing about what is going on. Carry on your way, nothing (for you) to see here...

  • I beg your pardon, but as a Ron Paul delegate I can attest that the mainstream GOP (a STATE SENATOR) told an RP delegate 'F&ck Off, yeah quoting our Vice President Cheeny F&ck Ron Paul' etc etc etc.

The strong arm tactics, the cussing, the fear is upon MCCAIN SUPPORTERS not Ron Paul folks.

  • I selected 7 delegates and 7 alternates when I was elected precinct chairman.. All Ron Paul supporters *-)

  • Thanks Bill.

  • Part 1 of 3:

I was there; I was a Delegate. I was extremely disappointed that mostly the King County Districts (not all), but all McCain platform supporters. Wasted the all the Washingtonians resolutions (not previously approved, 49 in all, resolution 18 was approved though out of those disregarded) that all counties came up with to make Washington a better place. Basically if it was not a McCain platform issue, who cares? (Part 1 of 3).

  • Part 3 of 3:

Those Delegates were elected to be there to represent all voters in their districts and counties not able to be there, they did not due their duty as Delegates and did not represent them nor Washingtonians statewide. I am very disappointed; I have to go back next time to make sure these shenanigans do not occur again. I am so disappointed in the outcome, but I am proud to have been a part of the Revolution! (Part 3 of 3).

  • Part 2 of 3:

After the pre-approved resolutions were gathered up & approved in one "rail-road" vote, King Co. wanted to go home early and disregard the Washingtonians resolutions everyone worked so hard to identify and find solutions to these broad issues, they ran out the clock like in a game by having the entire delegation recounted at least 3 times (and I believe a 4th) to maintain control, to not address these issues instead of just leaving it up to those who care and represent the people.

  • I want to see this on television.

  • I'm glad this is being documented for the historians of the future!

  • ELI CHASE please run for office!

  • JOSH DAVIS please run for office!

  • We had very similar experiences here in the Minnesota convention. The arrogance of the people running the convention is ridiculous. They are only pouring gasoline on the fire. I know many people that are working hard waking up more people and also running for office themselves. We can take over the party. In Minnesota, we had about 35-40% of the vote. In the near future, that number will easily be over 50%. Keep up the Great Work Washington State. You make WE THE PEOPLE SMILE.

  • A hundreds of Ron Paul delegates got their political education at the convention in Spokane. They are fired up and many are now looking to run for political office within the GOP. Those who would lie cheat and steal are awakening a sleeping giant.

  • So refreshing.

  • I was there, and the walkout staged by the McCain camp was a total embarrasment for our party. They intentionally did it in order to suspend the debate and nullify a huge list of resolutions. They did the residents of their communities a huge disservice. One resolution was pertaining to abused foster children, and preventing them from being moved around to multiple families. Now this resolution is dead.

Thus, it can be said. . . . McCain voters don't care about abused foster children.

  • That resolution was voted on prior to the walkout. Either call your comments propaganda strait out or warn readers that you are purposefully spreading Texas sized BS.

  • That resolution was voted down by the platform and resolution committee simply because it wasn't WORDED properly, as noted by their underlined words! This resolution would have certainly passed if it was amended, as were MANY of the resolutions which didn't have a chance to be debated on.

Thanks for that. I'm sure the children are thanking you too.

  • I had no intention of Continuing with the GOP after the General election, but after Attending the WSRP Convention as a Delegate and witnessing the absolute corruption and Liberal Collectivism of the McCain Campaign, I am no driven the work with my Precinct up to Repair and restore the Republican Party that Thomas Jefferson made!

  • Hear hear!

Kicking these assholes out of their own party is the best medicine.

  • It really isn't their party! The Neo-Conservatives are disenfranchised Democrats. They have infiltrated the Republican party and now it's time to put REAL Republicans back in the party. I for one have submitted my application for PCO.

  • that is why the poll said people in washington are the most intelligence people in the US. :). Go RP !!!!!

  • The McCainiacs made me ashamed to be in the GOP. Many are going to sue in court seeking to nullify the outcome. Council said the state GOP executive board broke state law in rigging the ballots. I'll work to elect some of the local Republicans but I'm going to work hard to beat Reichert and John McCain. Reichert is a mean-spirited antagonist who went out of his way to violate the rules by endorsing McCain and tried to upset the convention. I'm a freedom-loving American before I'm a Republican.

  • Good for you.

  • By the way, 'tis true, King County (not all districts, a couple actually stayed and fought for the resolutions and integrity of the Convention) with ther huge delegation were the biggest 'floor' criminals...how Luke Esser can hold his head up high...people overheard him bragging with fellow GOP how fun it will be to watch the tape over and over about the 'dumb people' and a particular girl he had made look foolish. He hurt the McCain campaign, and the work many were willing to do for the People.

  • I was there too and confirm the above story. The saddest thing is to realise many people sent these delegates to vote for them, appointed them as delegates..

  • they walked out on the convention, not wanting to do business, infact Kirby even out loud mentioned had it been the congress they would be arrested and brought back! Another thing, McCain people didn't even come back from lunch and refused to give their badges to the alternates who all paid there 95.00 fees plus hotel and food etc plus 4.33 in fuel prices and were kept from the process...

  • I wonder how happy the various counties will be to know they had minimal representation on the floor from their appointed delegations. That they all focused only on leaving I kept asking myself, why did they come? Why bother nominating themselves at the county conventions when they lack integrity to vote and work the process, rather let 'flag' holders tell them how to vote and when to leave...We tried to get this behavior stopped to no avail...

  • I however do not feel Kirby wasa so 'honest' he played along with the GOP, and though rightfully embarassed, was simply a master social engineer whereby most didn't even know the con was going on by even him.

  • Your comments offer nothing useful. Go away.

  • I just got back. I am a WA state delegate, the established GOP party/delegates of WA state were a disgrace for the convention. They voted based on what the leadership told them to vote with large red & green YES & NO signs all over (we signaled too, to the rear with only 1 red and 1 blue flag to help anyone who wanted a que & wanted to look over for it). They broke various laws as well. Eventually, they did a mass walk out with a couple remaining to call for quorum count, I saw this from start..

  • ..to end.

They wanted us to argue all morning about the delegates they illegally prescreened and offered to us on ballots with a singal choice. Instead, we moved to adopt their list of these people and move on to platform discussion and voting. They wanted no changes of the draft and to rubber stamp it. We got changes made, some text struck, etc. They were so confused they later helped change a plank they'd already forced us past to change it how we wanted to when we were on it the 1st time!

  • Once we finished the platform we had our proposals that had been prescreened into YES and NO stacks. We got the YES stack passed without debating each, though many voiced opposition. Many of them simply voted with us here since all they wanted to do is rubber stamp and go home! Amazingly, this YES stack of proposals included one which was specifically making it WA state GOP policy to oppose and want to repeal the federal Constitution's 16th amendment!!!

  • AFter this, some shady characters began running around whispering to their compadres and I quickly picked up they were doing a mass walk out to force us to not have quorum so as not to be able to even look at the prescreened NO stack of proposals. We took about 45 minutes to precisely determine head count and we had quorum!!! They rushed back in, but could only move so fast...before too many got in 1 quick delegate put 1 of the prescreened NO proposals to vote and it easily passed,

  • since the quorum at that time was about 90% Ron Paul supporters. This proposal was to reaffirm that only the federal House of Representatives can and is to declare wars.

Once they got back in they challenged to quorum count and performed many other tactics to force us to get no business done until 5pm (end of convention by schedule). We already had a motion on the floor to suspend rules and extend the session until all work is finished. This failed as too many people were worn out. The end.

  • P.S.: Kirby Wilbur (local talk-show host in Seattle on KVI) did a great job as chair of the convention. Thanks Kirby, you were fair and patient, as well as very knowledgable! I was amused when a very young new voter correct the chair on procedure when meant this young man corrected one of the authors of the 10th (current) edition of Robert's Rules of Orders, who was advising the chair on procedure. :)

Let me get this strait. red & green YES & NO signs = BAD

1 red and 1 blue flag = Good?

Sorry, don't get the logic there.

to help anyone who wanted a que = Should have stated to help anyone who wanted a clue, since many were and continue to lack even a basic foundation of politics to understand what was going on around them. You do a disservice to them to continue on trying to make everything out to be a conspiracy or against the law.

  • You are delusional.

  • You're so retarded. I am not going away, nobody I know is going away. More of us will be there next time. Count on it. Finally, I am sure the truth does hurt...the truth is you establishment democans think that any new blood is disruptive of your little rubberstamp party...way to grow the GOP. You are SO smart!

  • RP did very well in eastern Washington. I have always wondered, how liberal is the Republican party on the west side? Glad to see there are true conservative over on the west side.

  • Who's that good looking, professional interviewer at the beginning?

His voice would be great on radio!

    Great job!

  • Great job!
