Thus flipping the video it evades detection.

Imagine trying to make the word spoon 'unfindable' using a word search engine, by flipping it to 'noops' it will not turn up in a search querry using the term 'spoon' ;)

Apparently its not infringement if its been altered in some way and I guess the uploader chose mirroring as the best way to do that. He/she could've just put a title slide at the start which would've been much less annoying.

@DownThereForDancing i guess you are wrong with the title slide at the start. as u can see the uploader has uploaded the monoloque unmirrored and also the modern family speech. this is the only mirrored video and the logos have been blurred. so i quess (amateur logic) that youtube detects a copyright thingy in the middle of the video. if youtube scans the whole video and not only the beginning, a title slide wouldnt help.
