You don't HAVE to shoot it underhand, people. It seems to me he is demonstrating the momentum you can generate with the flip of a few fingers using kinetics. You can apply the technique to your normal jump-shot, passes, etc, while adding another NEW shot to your arsenal. Have an open mind, people.
Hi ballers. If you don't break the egg, it won't stand! Keep track on Three-Finger Zen videos as they come. Everything is new to basketball, and it works for you and helps you win! Happy New Year!
@Hybrid1207 Sure, if you ONLY CAN layup. 3p layup is just one of hundred power 3fz shots. In the real games, you can effectively combine 3fz layup with jump shots, fake, drive breakthrough, and fast breaks (1on0, 2on1, 3on2 and 4on3). It is more dynamic than floaters, much closer (jump-in) therefore more accurate than regular 3-p jump shots, and very potent with fake/pass combinations. It simply makes defense harder, more area to cover. Because no body has done it, It's hard to imagine its uses.
Not yet, but I am trying to do it. 3-point layup is just one of hundreds shots 3fz can do, and I am producing a DVD of training it. Watch my YouTube updates. The book is the best source for people to understand the techniques: biomechanics, neurophysiology and human kinetics. Because 3fz is new and unconventional, it is good to start from fundamental understanding. This way you will get rationales and techs to train, and it'll be much faster to command 3fz for technical domination in the game.
@BasketBull1 No body in the NBA or any professional leagues, even in amaturer leagues has done that so far, as of my researched results. In pick-up games it has been easily made in fast-break or driving break-through situations, and it works just like practice or regular layups, except scoring 3-points. Three-Finger Zen has biomechanical advantages by applying ulna mobility and Universal Alignment (4u1) of hand, that allows high-percentage and long-range layups. My book has all techs+practice
Whats the point with this thing?
