Hi there, I mooved the strut all the way down and 1 degree up. Much beter still a bit hot, I think it may be the battery possition, I think they are sitting to far forward from the manufacturers position. How far back are your batteries, from the back of the boat? And by the way, my prop is an OCTURA X442, sharpened and balanced. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
Hi there, I have the same boat and motor set-up as you, It seems to be running hot,and the hull is running wet, How far down do I adjust the strut? And do you have any angle on yours?
On mine the settings are Bottom of strut 1/16" above bottom of sponsons, angled about 1 degree up at the prop end Prop is Octura X640. If it still runs wet move the batteries back a bit.

Hi Steve. Yes, all the running hardware is original as came with the boat. I only upgraded the motor to an 8XL changed the prop to an X640 & added a small turn fin to help it around the corners.

Raise the strut another 1/16"
Back of my batteries are level with the back of the hatch. One in each sponson
Try an X640. Draws less current & goes faster.

All depends on your prop & COG

Good guess icespy3. I've had a GPS in the boat on a different run with the same setup & it read 83klm.

1cespy3 &he motor is a Feigao 8XL. It's rating is 2084KV.

that thing looks dialed, did that come with the hardware or did you use a different brand
