T^T this is a VERY sad anime and i cant get over the fact that Saber leaves...D': its sad and i really love this couple and anime and like it's sad that she left! D':

Just like many others, I cannot agree with it.
Even though, tragedy does have own beauty..
..it's just too cruel, to make such pure and just character as Saber, end up this way. It was more than enough, for her deeds, to earn some joy, and another chance.
I still cant bear myself, over words with having a very good dream...
I salute developers, for creating such story.
But at same time, it's not forgivable, for the ending.
she did receive joy...she loved, and she was loved...unconditionally. That's more than what most people ever experience in life....
then, if that's not enough, in the dream she kept her promise of protecting her beloved. A promise kept is a promise true, and for a knight king who abides by oath of chivalry, that's a life fulfilled.
These makes a poignant, happy yet bittersweeet ending for Saber.
After much soul searching, I actually agree with their separation. Their being together may be happy, but it's just not right. Besides, as with joy of love, there's also jealousy and heartache lurking at every corner in life. The fact that they can't be together ensures their (unrequited) love is true and unconditional. All dreams and good things must come to an end eventually.
I think it's painful for me because the character Saber is like a mirror. Denying yourself the joy of life and clinging to the straight and narrow often hurts, but worth it IMHO and you do get used to it. Then once in a blue moon, you come across a poignant story like Saber's and all the suppressed emotion just came out and it started to rain...hard.
Having said that, it's not necessarily a good or even healthy way to live your life, but when it's for the sake of others, it's good to go

And so, having fulfilled their duties till the end, they finally meet again, not as master or servant, King and Hero, or boy and girl, but as two eternal soul mates

i did not like the ending i still havn't overcome it but a second season would so destroy every feeling you got for the serie this is by far the best Anime/movie/anything i have seen and let's keep it that way and not spoil it.

Must be, because still..even if promises are kept.
And oaths fulfilled after death.
It's still incomparable with joy of love, while remaining alive, next to the precious companion.

Perhaps is so... perhaps it is.
Yet, as dreamer and perfectionist.
I simply cannot, nor wish to look for any other ending for them, except what I mentioned so far.
Firmly believing, that despite traps of life, and general odds, it would be the best option.
A bit selfish of me, no?
