Trotting out their 1.4 engine in extremely retro chevy styling. 130r especially ... hardcore Chevy look to the car, props to them for maintaining that. It's not my style at all, but props for not copying everything about Audi.  14 is how they roll ;)

Chevy needs a small ligh and agile car to slot in right beneath the larger 6 and mainly 8 cylinder Camaro. it would make all the sense in the world for Chevrolet to have something like this concept (and the Tru 140S for thta matter) to join their lineup. have it look true to these concepts shown there in Detroit and make them handle nimble and agile. there are quite many options for Chevy now to equip them with promising 4 cyl. engines, i'm sure it would be a stunner and huge success!

1 series dimensions with chevy's neo-retro styling cues did not look good in person. The 140S looked way better than the 130R - like a sleek mini CTS-V coupe compared to a truncated camaro/rx8 bastard child.

Seeing it in person, this car did not look as good as a 1 series. The Chevy styling cues with 1 series dimensions make it look goofy. By comparison, the 140s that he immediately dismissed at the beginning of the video looked far better with aggressive and,smooth lines that transition very well...like a small and sleek ctsv coupe.

A 4cyl @ 300hp would immediately compete with their Challenger/Charger sales, and probably won't happen.

Think about it, The Focus RS has been out in Europe for years, and has yet to come to the US. Why? It would compete with the Mustang sales.

A turbo 4cyl @ around 230-260 hp isn't that bad, they can probably use the same engine they have used in the Turbocharged Cobalt SS.

@dahgutone all of ur points are true but most people at least in america would rather have all motor naturally aspirated so i dont belive it would affect the mustang or camaro(witch sucks now) i just dont see the point of a rwd with only 140hp it would not be fun to drive it would be slow to accelerate and never break free and slide from power. the cobalt ss engine would be good depending on the weight of the car, so yes i agree with you somebody smart on youtube for once.

@Megatron44gun we allready have alot of good mpg car's and i can affoard gas for a v8 most new v8's get decent mpg, people love sports car's that are fast and good on gas using this 1.4 turbo will make it a slow competitor in the class it would fall in, so again they could make a v6 using twin turbo's and direct injection like the ecoboost and have 400hp and 30mpg best of both world's i would not put anything smaller then a v6 in this car,maybe the 1.4 for the 140R would work but not this.
