i hav so many questions about this fone:

1. Is it good?

2. I found a great deal on optus for $29 over a 12 month contract, but is it worth it?

3. Does this have gorilla glass?

4. Is it fast?

5. Can u do bluetooth file transfer?

6. Can u put ur own mp3 track as ur ringtone?

If someone could answer this it would be greatly appreciated because i am looking to buy this handset soon!

@97purna ok mate so i got the phone on monday (2 business day delivery) so far the phone is amazing the display is so impressive, the internet is quick as can be and tbh the only cons with this phone is the battery needs to be charged about ever 2-3 days but thats with alot of internet and app usage. Lastly u cant send files via bluetooth :/ but other than that i would recommend this phone to anyone especially since its at this price. Feel free to ask me any Q's

$779.00 aus dollars thats over £500 pounds only 8 months ago. ordered one a couple of days ago for £230 brand new unlocked and it will have the free software upgrade (mango)(windows 7.1 or 7.5 in a few months. very reasonably priced highend phone for the price of a mid range android such as samsung galaxy ace

i got this and the htc mozart,there both good phones but once u see the super amoled u will fall in love with this phone,it,s amazing all others seem dull in comparision.only one problem bloddy microsoft wont let u put your own ringtone in,it sucks.

I had a HD7 with a snapdragon processor and though it is quite old, the processor was extremely fast. Unfortunately the HD7 suffers the same problem as the iPhone 4, the death grip so I brought it back and will be getting the Omnia 7.

Well it's not quite the same thing as an iPhone 4, all phones lose signal if you cover the bottom of the phone since thats where the antenna is. Plus every WP7 device has the same CPU

But it was so extreme on the HD7. I had 5 bars when it was on the table but asa I took it in my hand, the signal dropped to 0 or at least 1 bar within 3-5 seconds...

What's about the Omnia 7 when you hold it as you usually hold a phone?

Just a heads up: the Omnia 7 does not use a Samsung Hummingbird but a Snapdragon like the other WP7 phones.

ive had an xperia (x1i) since release and looking for a upgrade would you say so far this is a worthy purchase and also in your review could you please include bluetooth a2dp test as this is one area which i have seen no one test on wp7.

This phone is beautiful. I get a new phone in January. I don't know when verizon will get a windows 7 phone but I hope it's soon. I want to get a phone that will last 2 years and won't grow old on me. It's going to be hard to decide on what to get that day. A android phone, windows phone, or possibly a iPhone if it comes to verizon.
