@bbe3able That's what I thought, too, from the name, but the first time I ever tried Bobbi Brown products, the sales said "she", and it hit me, Bobbi Brown is a woman!
@dalilaavelar Mac for the first time I ask for their help to find make up I was told NC 45, it was to light so they gave me NC 50 IN STUDIO FIX/ TECH I WAS TOLD keep NC 45 in concealer I did, I had NC 42 not 45 in concealer it was water and studio tech NC 50 was yak! Went back 2 other times. I have NC 45 and NC 5O IN STUDIO FIX and will not ever go back. However a year ago I didn't even know Bobbi Brown and walk pass it was great she study my face and everything she put on I bought.
lovely instructions - cheers, has anyone tested L'Oreals newest product line?! it's quite hard to get hold of makeup in Parkland yet i managed to recieve impressive cosmetic samples by using 'Gratis Makeup Samples', there cool!
(Waltaya, is that you????) I've worked with Bobbi's eyeshadows a lot (as well as MANY other brands), and I haven't found any that blend as well as hers. You always have to tap or blow off the excess shadow with ANY brand you use, so that explains the "dust." Super easy techniques...that's why real women love you, Bobbi!

What was wrong with this model? Creepy smiling immobile all the time...perhaps she was nervous or something.
By the way...BB's eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented. Don't review them if you haven't tried them. ALL eyeshadow can fly off brushes. It's why MUA's tap the brush off before applying it to the skin...to make the excess "fly off" as you say. She has an incredible line.
@JAdoreSephora um it wasn't really "chalky" per se, I mean, it's a powder. Powder tends to distribute "dust" or little particles when picked up and applied by a brush, no so much with fingers because it gets packed on when you smooth it over your eye, but with a brush, the little hairs bounce, which ultimately flings some of the powder out.
@kevseb66 ...DAYUM MY COMMENT WAS MADE A YEAR AGO....LMAO..and u all mad at this YEAR OLD REMARK I MADE AND HAVING a coronary attack...LMAO again....ur more flakier than this chalky mess of an eyeshadow....
@kevseb66 um, yeah...u came at me like a mad ass dog..and now ur upset cause I called u out on your lame azz, respond to a year old remark I made...u need to heed to your remark...LEARN MORE(by reading the date of comment first) COMMENT LESS(meaning don't even bother cause the remark is way too old to even respond too)....so again..um yeah...signing off weirdo that u r...
@kevseb66 u so freakin stupid...my remark was made over a freakin year ago..and ur still respondin' to me of what I said back then....GET OVER IT...IDIOT.....*rolls eyes*
@JAdoreSephora I love Bobbbi Brown's products and though it looks chalky, it really isn't. I mean, in this video she's using a really fluffy brush for the base and after all, the shadow is a compact powder. When the hairs of the brush fling out, of course there's going to be "dust" flying around. Really, Bobbi's products are soft but have a great hold. They go on sheer so that you can work with layering, which I love because otherwise I'll be making so many mistakes!
this video is good can you tell me what sort of makeup kit you need when you start out in the makeup industy thanks cos i hope to work in the industy oneday
You should check out her new book. I believe it's called Bobbi Browns makeup manual. Lots of information, and step by step photos, and she gives you a list and photos of what a professional kit should contain. Very Helpful book.
she kinda looks like Demi Moore! :)

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Unfortunately, you can't really see the make-up properly due to the model's dark complexion....hard to see smokey eyes!

@JAdoreSephora Dusting on a base of a powder eyeshadow base doesn't mean the finish will look dusty & unflattering. LEARN MORE & COMMENT LESS!
