The first malfunction was just her backup vocals for verse 1 coming in at the wrong time and seperately. She sang (and was always going to) sing that live. The end malfunction WAS an attempt to lip synch the difficult last notes. It went wrong and she ended up singing the whole song live... It really isn't difficult to understand.

Some parts of the song was meant to be lipped and it played at the wrong time, so she got kinda caught up. It is true that at her status she shouldn't be lip singing anything, but i liked how she saved the performance. I don't even remember seeing this on the media. The first malfunction was just her backup vocals for verse 1 coming in at the wrong time and seperately. She sang (and was always going to) sing that live. The end malfunction WAS an attempt to lip synch the difficult last notes. It went wrong and she ended up singing the whole song live... It really isn't difficult to understand.

LOL this is no lipping. She clearly sounds "live" and there are "imperfections" in how she sings the song. Mariah commonly harmonizes or sings over herself (like on her albums (as do many other artists)... but here you can hear her singing her main parts..... this is a dumb video... another lame attempt to prove lipping... but she clearly isnt.

Some parts of the song was meant to be lipped and it played at the wrong time, so she got kinda caught up. It is true that at her status she shouldn't be lip singing anything, but i liked how she saved the performance. I don't even remember seeing this on the media. I think the only people who noticed and really cared were those who knew anything about live performances.
