The fact that "TheMrUlrich" is from France leans my more to believe this video is legit... Archos is a French company and their programmers are mostly French plus most of the Archos open source community are French...I don't know just my opinion.
How stable is Froyo on the Archos 5IT? What is the probability of an official release for Android 2.2 on the Archos 5IT. I just bought one only to discover no Froyo!!! Then I Here about the Archos 70 which ships with Android 2.2 released @ the same price of the Archos 5. WTF? Is Archos going to just give up on the 5IT or what?
@PAINTuRED Archos tends to just stop working on their older devices as they get replaced. It's not very stable right now, but the developers are still working on it and planning a stable build.
@Zachariasmith Well I said it to hear the response from the guy with the archos..About Froyo.I don't think that will happen..Archos 5 IT has only 256 of ram..I don't think it could handle it.
