The Shattered Fortress shatters all! ]:) It totally rules, rocks and so on... Kinda sad the saga ended. At least if that is the end... Anyway, I still can't process this album as a DT album. It is very different, even for them. I used to love them, but all they're doing now is cheap metal. A far cry from what they once were. I thought at some point they would take a lesson from Rush and learn to progress and mature, but apparently that has not happened.

Well, what can I say... It all sounds like a total mess. I was hoping to hear more laid back melodic moments on the new album and what I hear is like a mix of the heaviest parts of latest Metallica album. Glory, Triumph:Images and words
Confusion, suspens: Scenes from my memory, SDOIT
Smooth attitude, relaxing: Falling into infinity
All of them: Black clouds and silver linings

I used to love them, but all they're doing now is cheap metal. A far cry from what they once were. I thought at some point they would take a lesson from Rush and learn to progress and mature, but apparently that has not happened.

the last S.C. was a very good album, but he left no emotions to me like others album... he seems a "cold" album, with masterpiece sound, impressive virtuosism but can't explain no emotions listening...i hope this will be a very good album too and from new cover art i can see that my fist emotion is watching to her! :D hoping...

Still sounds good, but fuck does almost every album before 2003 sound way better...still, were gonna get some good shit...but hopefully petrucci plays less of them "egyptian" solos haha...

Well, what can I say... It all sounds like a total mess. I was hoping to hear more laid back melodic moments on the new album and what I hear is like a mix of the heaviest parts of latest Metallica album. I don't know who are they trying to attract with this sample, I'm not feeling "teased" after hearing it. I'm feeling... worried.
