  • @lucky7slevan Yah, it was a great learning experience and during training is the best time to learn!

    Thanks for watching!

  • Isnt shooting steel that close dangerous? I know someone who lost an eye (with eyes on) by shooting steel at 15 yds.

  • @blarsen8 We all were using frangible ammo that turns to dust on impact.

  • That is freakin sweet... Makes sense. I liked when the guy kicked you over. Where was this?

  • Need to watch Magpul dynamics tact. carbine 1 & 2 lol, but I'm guessing you probably have just cause it is a REALLY good training aid. I would love to take classes with them. Nice shooting though.

  • In a real-life situation, I imagine you wouldn't want your barrel protruding from cover (i.e. sticking through the plywood cutouts) as this could make you an easier target? Just curious as I've never taken a course like that, but would love to :)

  • That's true. It really depends on the range of the adversary. Over 100 yards it's not too bad but under you'll be rather exposed.

  • What kind of dump pouch is that?

  • It's a Specter Gear "Belt Mounted Magazine Recovery Pouch"

    It works great!

    Thanks for watching!

  • What optic you got strapped on that thing? Whats the magnification and objective size? I'm running an NcStar 3-9X42 on my XCR 556. At least until I can afford something better.

  • Hello fellow XCR enthusiast!

I'm just running a Aimpoint CompM4s no magnification.

  • @pwenzlik Love that optic. Anything greater ranged, I'd use a TA 33 acog or greater..

  • @KJOSCOT It is sweet. Nice choice in the TA33

  • @pwenzlik Thanks man. I like it for intermediate and long range bits.

  • Did your hat block the shell from ejecting at 0:30 or do I need to go do some sideways reliability testing with my xcr?

  • @WCDSM That was a light primer strike due to having a bad hammer spring. I replaced it and haven't had the problem anymore. Sideways shooting is not a problem with the XCR. Thanks for watching!

  • Good job and great video, bud. Which outfit is teaching this class?

  • Looking good. That XCR surs looks sweet, especially in 7.62x39! It just knocked over that last steel target like it was nothing!
