its the most buttyful song ever and its bad to had to talk french to understand it but i tried to translate it. it is the best diss track ever for those who suffer in love...merci Charle, cette chanson va et passe a travers le temps.
because you think you are my reason for being you raises my pain. and in spite of you, you spend the happiness, who lives in my heart. one day may come tomorrow, or perhaps in the future, where, who knows? oh god, fate will blur the games. All you fully believe, as a dream in the morning. Can break your law, leave your eyes moist and the void in your hands. Because you think I'm a slave, a wreck of love.
You drew your joys and you forge your weapons without help from my heavy heart. Because you think I madethe world as lead to an unleashed. You lead me to it, without a sacrifice, a whim, an idea, of a spoiled child. When everything is dead, the passion will leave my body. I will resume and I will leave you without a regret. Because I believe that one day with a smile, I say us, it's over and then there is only the remainder. Of farewell
@MrDJSabreTooth He listens to all sorts of music. A lot of Parlaiment/Funkadelic, Isaac Hayes and all the good funk. But he listens to a bunch of different genres. As do his crew of musicians. The production on 2001 was a lot more mature because of all of Dr. Dre's musical influences.
@iboudebo6te I think Dre does listen to this music. Not everything is hiphop and rap. If you want to be able to compose you need to listen to other things also for inspiration.
@tiberiusbrain The funny thing about dre and everyone else is If he wants a certain sound he gets it. While low budget producers have to seach and search for clean samples, dre just snaps his fingers and one of the many engineers he has finds it, pays for it, and makes the sample, Dre shows up and says, "thats tight heres $20,000 now its mine, have a nice day". Dont believe me?, my boy just did it.LOL. They take your low budget track, put it on their boards, make it a hit, and collect the $
Charles aznavour is a great singer in France and younger and older people loved him, he was sampled several time by French hip hop singers, I'm not surprised that dr dre sampled him.....peace...!!!

Whats the sample of the whistle/synthy sound thats in Dres song during the chorus?
Portilloizay 2 years ago
that part wasnt sampled. dre did that himself on a synthesizer
ChrisEgnew 2 years ago
Fair enough.
Portilloizay 2 years ago
Dre, Bittersweet, sean paul ...
But this sounds like fake.. there is the beat at the beggining and then he starts to sing and the whole rythm changes...
i know.. it isnt fake but sounds bizzare
matimze 2 years ago
Dre clearly didn't take the whole instrumental. He just sampled the first 8 seconds and worked it from there.

yep, thats what he usually does with samples, and thats why I respect him
