Not sure why you're downing the option of pressing a button to swing. How complicated should swinging a bat be in a video game? If this game had a better A.I. it wouldn't need a power, contact, and defensive swing. Hitters would adjust accordingly in the count like they do in The Show.

There's nothing more authentic about having to do more work for such a simple task as swinging at bat. The same goes for the insane numbers of buttons needed to be pushed when throwing a single pitch.

There's a few things i picked up. One: If you can work yourself into a hitter count(3-1 or 2-0) 70% of the time they will pitch you an easy pitch to hit.

Two: On the first pitch always use power type swing (Down, then up with the stick.)

Second pitch: Power

Third pitch: Contact. and so forth never use power when you have 0-2 counts.

Swinging with power gives you a huge boost in your rbi's and homeruns.

Three: Don't put SP in Eye vs Righty/Left.. It can get distracting for most players GodLuck
