  • What kind of plaster do you use. Do you put this on canvas? Has it ever cracked? Also, when you use toilet paper, what process do you use to apply it and what do you mix with it to make it stick. I have never painted anything before and want to try and do some things for my room. I like your art work! Thx!

  • @sashamommy I use Rapid Coat Low dust all purpopse joint compound. I've tried other joint compounds and they seem to all work the same... I've never had a problem with it cracking on me unless its what im trying to do with it, but i usually make sure its heavly applied and coated with a few coats of varnish (liquetex gloss medium) With the toilet paper i work very carefully with it and i use mod podge Its a challenge to work with but if your gentle it'll work. I truly hope this helps.

  • @rizzin2thetop I love your work. You inspire me. Thx for the videos!

  • @sashamommy Thanks so much for your support. Im glad you like my artwork.,

  • It reminds me of nature...grass, and solid/dirt

  • Hello and thanks so much for stopping by to comment. Come again!

  • Hi Angela! been a while since I checked in on youtube! I love the idea of using rice for texture! that's terrific! For colors...I SO get it. One of the most inspiring places to look at colors is at the paint section in the hardware store! :) some places actually have books of the color chips that you can buy. these are great for ideas on mixing up new colors!

  • Hello and thank you so much for stopping by to comment. It means so much to have such great support. I'll have to get to that hardware store too. Thanks again. God bless!

  • abstract art is a difficult one to master for color, texture, thought and execution must all balance in order to capture its "purpose" ... and you, my dear, are a natural ... love, love, love!! please view my channel and comment ... your opinion would be wholeheartedly appreciated ... thank you and God bless.

  • Why thank you so much for stopping by. Your comments are greatly appreciated. I'll stop by your channel to view it. Thanks again, and God bless you too.

  • Thanks so much Carla.

  • love it. the colors are so warm. cool.

  • Thanks so much for stopping by, glad you liked it.

  • The texture is so cool. the painting turned out , out of this world!! I look on etsy and always find some color combo that I would never think of using, like orange with red and pink. You look so beautiful outside, love the hair. I have hair envy now. lol

  • Hi Lisa, how have you been? I hope things are well. I'm glad you liked the painting, and thanks for that color combonation tip. Its starting to become like homework trying to figure out what colors to use. LOL ps. i could always do your hair like that too he he he. I think i'll do more videos outside. " Hugs"

  • Your work is looking soooo great Angela! Ya, I can relate to that "I need new colours" feeling. Mix it up girl! Sometimes I find some wonderful combinations simply by adding white or another opaque colour to a transparent paint.

  • Thanks for the tip on that color situation. I'll have to give it a try. Glad you stopped by to see what im up too. Take care!

  • I love it! Your work is really progressing in leaps and bounds! Love your colour and texture combinations!

  • tou took along while to appear ;), I see ure developing a relationship with textures and are dividing ure canvas almost like in two paintings, i like it, im into circles now, have u ever thought about framing them?

  • Hello, nice to hear from you, yes i love love love textures. Yes thats my new thing now dividing the canvas. I use to love stuck on circles LOL i had to make myself focus on other things for a lil while, but i still love circles. Funny that you mentioned framing them. I just thought of framing these little art works in kinda like a shadow box type style or something of that nature. What ever looks good, im looking into that. I'll keep you posted if i do so. Take care!
