she is definately very good, but if im being honest, there is a quality in her voice that i don't like, it sounds like her voice is kind of squashed.. but the big notesv are good and powerful, guess i just like power AND a delicate quality together.. like mariah for instance.. just my opinion..

No it's nothing to do with the accent, that doesn't phase me.. It's just that I find a different sort of voice more appealing.. But obviously she can sing, I'm not denying that.. She's just not my cup of tea :)

It is DEFINITELY due to her accent. She's still learning the language. She is well on her way and she's just gonna get bigger! Once her album drops, i'll be (one of) the 1st in line!

i understand u... in all honesty, that is not the way she speak our language..which is Tagalog.. I think she is just trying to put an accent with the way she speak.. Because here in philippines,, when she speak "Taglish" it doesnt sound like that... ( Taglish = Tagalog + English ) ... Just my opinion too... And observation... :)
