  • god damm your good,,,love it

  • Who put up the dislike? some on deaf?..

  • nice backing track. care to share?

  • WHERE IS THE VIBRATO ??

  • awsome.! this is the song that moved me to buy a trumpet and self teach. Now i can play pretty good.

  • can u like give me the sheet music

  • @Throwedcat - it's pretty simple. It starts with DEGAB

  • what kind of horn is that?

  • anyone have the chord changes for this tune?

  • I LIKES THIS RIGHT HERE!!

  • the sound you make is like magic i think... its really good.

i play the bari and alto sax in jazz band and tenor sax in marching and concert band.i am trying to be as good as i can be as of practice but i am really good though i think.

  • Thanks for your comment. Practice as much as you can without burning out. I used to be more methodical about practicing but now simply pick it up when I feel in the mood.

  • yeah man you sound real hot on this. I wasn't totally digging the Harmon trumpet overdub at the beginning maybe it was just a bit loud for my taste. but you sounded great otherwise great stuff man!!

  • you changed the key...cheat!

    he he :-)

  • Yes, you're right, I'm not playing it in the published key. The background tracks I located were in this key so ... that's how I played it. Good catch. P.S. My trumpet teachers always told me to practice tunes in different keys. :)

  • @edcontact - Hey, Ed! Hell with all that - you got it, jazz ain't about "right" and "wrong" keys, right? I bet most jazz cats know most tunes in at least 4-6 keys if not all 12! Bird learned Cherokee in all 12. You soundin good.

  • Hee man very nice stuff! Funny cause a friend of mine hi surname is also Trujillo.Hell of a saxophone player (Efraim Trujillo, Amsterdam) are u guys relatives?

  • I don't know Efraim. Perhaps we're related way back. Thanks for your comment.

  • Have you thought about doing a "How to play the flugelhorn" series?

I think many of us would love it!

  • Thanks for your vote of confidence. Teaching sounds like work! Maybe someday.

  • i loved it

  • another great performance! you sound like you lock into the groove more and more as the song goes on.
