a reminder for those dislikers, alienware is an overpriced piece of shit and it ships with many many bloatwares so it can cost you more, and this should explain why it takes a long time to boot / running slow, because it initializes more softwares at boot time and more running jobs in the background

so in all, it's even worse than a macbook (i'm talking about evilness, not performance)

Your Alienware laptop is far too slow. It looks like there is an error with some services initializing since your welcome screen takes too long, it could also be a defect in an attached usb device like a build-in sd-slot. Check your Windows logs, they hold more information than you'd realize.

Every modern laptop I've worked on had a 5400 rpm HDD, which is slow as dirt for a system drive.

As for the video, Alienware is just overhyped junk with flashy lights and poor cooling solutions, made by DELL. Alienware used to be good, before they were purchased by DELL.

Its true, i bought an Alienware M18x laptop. The battery shorted out and the whole things was burnt. I contacted AW support(a bunch of idiots at an indian callcenter) They kept transferring me. When I finally contacted a top AW support guy, he taunted me and said that i should try suing, cuz i will lose. He then proceeded to say I am a fraud and locked my acc so he wouldnt have to repair it or ship a new one.

It could be something not completely caused by Alienware, such as failing hard drive, corruption on drive, software bugging out, malware, bad BIOS config, and on and on. What drives are in each system? Did you contact support, run any type of diagnostics, AV/AM utility, or troubleshoot at all? Maybe a bad system but just as likely user error.
