I've just heard on 23rd March 2009 that Billie Piper is coming back as Rose in Doctor Who. It's alright twice with companions but after that I think once you've seen them twice in a new series then that's enough. I do like Billie Piper as Rose she is my favourite companion out of the 21st Century 2005 and 2006 series. Also got told that Donna is coming back too. We've seen enough of them companions really.
No, actually it's true. People have watched the filming. It's apparently New Years, 2005, months before she meets the Doctor. I assume she doesn't remember because the Doctor doesn't introduce himself, so she just assumes he's a random guy on the street and forgets about him.

It's nostalgia-fest time and, even though the final episode of season 4 brought everyone back for what seemed to be the absolute last time, the final 10th Doctor episode is likely to do that again. Confirmed sightings of the Master, Wilf, Donna, Sylvia with confirmed attendances of Rose, Jack, Mickey, et al. Yes, the erstaz Doctor is supposed to be there too, along with Rose's baby!

apparently you did say that out loud jeff - to each their own. I liked Rose - and I don't think DW needs to 'get darker' like Moffet is supposedly taking the show. I've been watching for over 20 years and I feel it does best as an action/adventure type thing without all the angst. Sorry you disagree....

Actually, if you watch the episodes Moffat has done, they're not as dark as people seem to think. Scarier, maybe, but they tend to end on incredible highs.
TEC/TDD: "Everybody lives, Rose! Everybody lives!"
Girl in the Fireplace: Okay, I'll give you that one, but it wasn't dark...just sad.
Blink: Scary, but really dark, and ended with Sally and Larry finally meeting the Doctor and apparently falling in love with each other.
SITL/FOTD: Ends with everyone who died living in a sort of heaven.

I've just heard on 23rd March 2009 that Billie Piper is coming back as Rose in Doctor Who. It's alright twice with companions but after that I think once you've seen them twice in a new series then that's enough. I do like Billie Piper as Rose she is my favourite companion out of the 21st Century 2005 and 2006 series. Also got told that Donna is coming back too. We've seen enough of them companions really.

No, actually it's true. People have watched the filming. It's apparently New Years, 2005, months before she meets the Doctor. I assume she doesn't remember because the Doctor doesn't introduce himself, so she just assumes he's a random guy on the street and forgets about him.
He also seems to be dying at this point, because there's a pic of him leaning against a wall, looking like he's in a lot of pain. The sad irony is it's the wall right next to where he landed in The Christmas Invasion.

This song is so frighteningly spot on for these two characters and their relationship. From the obvious of her name to words/phrases ("fantastic", "my Rose", etc.)... it's truly unbelievable how amazingly it matches up!

Yeah, it is. Little fact: the singer, Geoff Smith, wrote this song especially for the character of Rose Tyler. I googled his name, and found it on his site or something.

thank you for a wonderful video that captures the beauty, spirit and love of both the Doctor and Rose. This video has always been my favorite Doctor Who and Rose video. I feel the love, the energy, the joy and excitement of traveling time and space and doing it with someone you love. I would do anything to be Rose Tyler. well, don't know if you've already gone and watched it but will tell you anyway. Rose( bp) is ordinary shop girl. A gorgeous 900 year old alien blows up her job and they go traveling around time and space together saving lives annoying queens and falling in love. they give up thier lives for each other. also has the gorgeous david tennant in series two! anyhoo, they fall in love, get separated for ever, angsty ending where rose tells him he loves her and he doent get time to say it back. sniff!
