MobileViews: iPhone 3GS vs.Touch Pro2 Video Recording

I have a tp2 and the "clear voice" its really nice. i have recorded in a party; that tp2 recorded the voice of the close people (friends and me) and muted all the sound around of party (music, people, shoutings, etc) but with the iphone 3GS the sound it's a mix of all the sound misunderstood >_< the music its too louder and is very dificult understand the words when talking with me friends

OOOOOOOOOoooooo, touch pro2 got burned on this one. video recording is perfect, but sound is awful. iphone is perfect on video and sound. :P

in the relm of business the iphone just doesnt have the readily available programs to work with. htc being windows has more business oriented usage. the iphone is an awsome phone for what it is used for.

no there it is only limited y memory of the phone or of your SD memory device

@videoman223 u can record on the tp2 for as long as ur memory card will hold..if its to send then i think its only a few secs..i have this for verizon and it blows everything away... imo

the only cool thing about the iphone is the apps, the htc can do way more REAL stuff

ha ha Iphone is a Junk phone. HTC touch pro 2 is a winner. Iphone is a junk phone because it can not open many applications at once, Can not expand Storage has it is internal storage only No external storage slots, Battery is built in and can not swap batteries. What am i to do if I am middle of no where and no way to charge the phone? ha ha also has any iphoney users had there iphone explode yet LOL.... Windows Mobile HTC Touch Pro 2 is the Winner.

I'd bet 100 bucks you've never tested either phone before and you make your negative assertions based on nothing of merit. If the iPhone is such a junk phone, why is there such a high demand for it? I'm not an big iPhone or HTC fan but i will say that both of the devices are great in their own respects.

I bet you 1,000 dollars that I did test it and also have friends who have Junk Iphone has most of them already changed for HTC Windows phones has they relize they made big mistake getting junk iphone which all it is a App phone. ha ha answer your Iphone in demand is because people buy it just for it good looks is all they hype is all about. In real life it just a personal phone for people with not much knowledge in technology. Windows phone is Personal & Bus.

Clearly the iPhone has better video but it doesnt beat the HTC by much. But as u leason, HTC has better sound then the iPhone if you notice whenever he says "ok this is an iphone 3gs" and "ok this is a HTC touch pro 2".

I surely go for the HTC touch pro 2.

I love htc but this goes to the iphone.

If this was an INDOOR video test, HTC would win hands down. But they still haven't got natural light to work. Sadly one of the things the 3GS does right is video (well samsung still has the best video phone)

one blaring issue with htc devices is in natural lighting, the colors aren't as crisp or vibrant. Its actually a shame. Touch pro 2 is close to a great device

iPhone's is better. Visually without doubt and the wind resister stops all that "noise" that makes the Touch Pro sound really crappy.

Looks like the iphone had a little bit better dynamic range, but the touch pro 2 had much better sound. Video quality is about equal.

iphone won by a bit nothing critical really. i think their both great phones and its all about what you like. for some they hate the iphone cant send mms. other dont need it. others want a physical qwerty. other cant stand a bulk.

I dont know what you were looking at but the Touch Pro2 looked better to me if you can get past the fact that he recorded the videos at different times of the day and made the first part of the TP2 video look bad because the angle of the sun was different and it made the lower part of the recording look dark from the glare reflection from the ground. You could see alot more detail in the trees and everything when he pointed it in the that direction. Iphone wasn't bad but TP2 was Better!

FYI: The two video recordings were made less than a minute apart in time. Not "different times of the day"

well as you can see the iphone beats the touch pro 2 on camera lvl.

but the camera of the tp2 is enough for me.

so ill just get the tp2
