As most are well aware, Zep dominated the

70's heavy metal scene with some incomparable tunes. Yeah, Purple and Sabbath were there and did their part but Zep ruled the roost. Kashmir was the book-end for many of us to Dazed and Confused, from their first album.

I've seen this tune covered my many bands but never before by violin which, in retrospect, seems appropriate since Jimmy himself played it with a bow on his Les paul. Very well done, wish a commercial copy was available.

msg225, I think you should add in the description that the first half is not Kashmir. It's what she called "Aurora" in her CD, and it's the first page of Sibelius's violin concerto, one of the most famous classical violin pieces ever. If it sounds awesome to you, you should check out the whole thing (and classical music in general)!
