  • i hate ur show only reason i saw it was cause mi.......ur an ass...ur show is very offensive to people and u dont knw it.

  • yeah wendy go fuck urself u bitch

  • wendy go fuck urself..you think african girls are bloody gold diggers like americans..M.I if you want to marry go ahead my brother.."which kind yeye advice is enjoy ur success..that ladies will trap you"

  • did she just say "all the million dollars uv made " ? my oga M.I SHake e head lk se wendy talk true

  • MI you are officially on my A list. Love the interview and how you even told the black-american's that we Africans love them so we all can stop the hating of each other. So far the best of all the interviews.....Not sure what 2face did on Monique show, but at least we 9jas are getting out there.......Afro-Americans and Africans it's time for us all to come together and conquer the world just like the Europeans did. -_____-

  • Wendy..all dem naija girls when wan marry go dey cause you oo,hahahaha,

    brilliant advice.

  • He's very Articulate

  • The incredible MI.... U guys are making us proud

  • i'm kinda mad he's on this show. b on oprah or monique show or something. not this.

  • Thats my next hair cut project. That ish look sweet.

  • NIGERIA!!!!!!!

  • This dude is focused.

  • seriously m.i is intelligent o!

  • hes smart,and well composed!

  • this guy is so articulate

  • M.I. u are a definition of sophistication but ur glasses to me was a takes away 20% of ur sophistication. however, u be chairman.

  • Wendy's "wetin dey" got me cracking up like crazy.... i now love her!!!

  • Wendy is out of controlll....lol

  • This guy is intelligent

  • What is it called?

  • OMG WHAT SONG IS THAT YOU PLAYED BEFORE AND AFTER THE INTERVIEW

    ???

  • @Ppassmethemic7 his song

  • @Ppassmethemic7 "Undisputed Champion - M.I."

  • i'm glad he said what he did about english. it's so irritating when u're nigerian abroad and ppl keep saying 'Oh ur english is so good' . Westerners don't realize how much land the Brits stole. or the fact that ppl have been speaking fluent english in West Africa (at least) for at least as long as they have Canada, USA, India and all the other former british colonies.

  • This guy is too much! He probably started wearing glasses after Tinie Tempah started doing same.

  • what is wrong with Nigerian artist wearing glass every interview

  • @platonic4xt Ha! He's following Tinie Tempah's RayBans regime indoors and outdoors.

  • WIT TEN DEH! LOL

  • Wow...M.I. He is absolutely brilliant..he's so articulate with every word that comes out of his mouth...Proud to be Nigerian!

  • Comment removed

  • Yes...another outstanding Naija artist!!! well done M.I!!!

  • Looool! @T4Toyin, I was thinking the exact same thing myself! Its like, r u being blinded by the indoor lighting? Sheeesh! On the other hand tho, this is what I call articulate. Dbanj and 2 face should take a page out of this guy's book.

  • Amazing interview.

  • That sounded like he has a girlfriend he's ready to settle down with.... :’(

  • love Wendy Williams and I love her doing those interviews great job wendy and I love M.I

  • Wendy williams wasnt a good host.. and her so called advice was sooooo poorrr!!!

  • i dont like the funny face "how u doin" is simply scary plsss am glad MI ignored it he would hav looked stupid doin dat...great interview doe 9ja fi life still south east london repin.

  • go go go. mo wa leyin e b ake. go MI

  • dnt like wendy #toobossy

  • thats is my brother from hausa land

  • Well spoken, very articulate and representing Nigeria beautifully... Well done MI!

  • MI on a track with Mos Def or Talib Kweli will be crazy!

  • HOPEFULLY THIS YEAR BET WILL SHOW THE INTERNATIONAL CATEGORY ON TV BECAUSE LAST YR I WAS PISSED OFF WHEN THEY DIDNT SHOW IT, ONLY ON THE NET WHICH WAS SO UNFAIR.....BET BETTER SHOW IT LIVE WITH THE OTHER CATEGORIES...#RUBISH

  • intelligence is just the word, ooozes everything thing classy that comes with it.. Good one MI.. Sky's the limit for you.. Keep pushing the buttons for nigeria.. we're proud of u.

  • Wow, wonderful interview. D'Banj and TuFace on "Welcome to America" were hilarious! But M.I brought a mix of hilarity, seriousness and intelligence to this! This is how you do it! Well done M.I, keep reppin Naija!

  • @femiluv lol yea true i agree

  • |What you guys don't know is that Stars don't just give the answers straight ahead but make it look like.

  • Also, why is it that all these Nigerian artists who have been interviewed on this BET show feel compelled to wear sunglasses indoors? For example, D'banj, Tuface, P square (both Peter and Paul), and now MI, all of whom have appeared on this show, all wore glasses. Geez!

  • Overall, I think it was a great interview. He, however, did answer the questions vaguely, often appearing as though he was being evasive and defensive (even Wendy caught that). He seems to be uncomfortable with himself--saying he should have started younger (he wasn't asked that); saying that Wendy should come to Nigeria, but that she should ignore what she may have heard; and that he "speaks" English--apparently trying to prove that he can speak English (dude, your interview was in English.)

  • whoever says this interview wasnt cool, should shoot himself #justsaying. you can tell MI is really composed and intelligent, very articulate and proud of who he is, which make me PROUDER!! Great interview, love WENDY!! LOVE MI. peace xo

  • What song plays towards the end?

  • @hot2dmax m.i undisputed champion!

  • Isn't vice a moral fault as in something bad? Maybe they meant a different word.

  • wendy chillas now... we know u know.. hey MI U ROCK SON.. AM proud of u.. u really so clear the thing about nigeria with her first language.

  • @that1960chickTV, Thanks for posting this!

  • I like this interview SO MUCH! He was articulate, affable and authentic. I also liked that when he corrected her (e.g. the English thing), he did it in a very firm yet non-threatening way. OVERFEELING this guy men!!

  • @abum91 i think you are of those good for nothing critics who fail to understand the reason why people criticize in the first please.

if it were one oyibo that had that interview and responded same way, i bet you would have sang praises. it was an interview and not a TV broadcast via teleprompter/script. if you did not like it, many Nigerians were proud of the rep.

  • She subtly corrected him after he said underground rappers, in reference to Common and Talib Kweli, affirming that they are 'conscious' rappers....

  • @abum91 How was this interview local?

Did u listen to the same interview?

M.I. answered the questions perfectly and was/is very articulate.

So what you've said bears no merit.

  • @abum91 Nigerians like you have always had crap to say about someone that's doing really well. How did you expect him to answer the questions??? Let me help you out.

Question 1: How old are you? I am 10 yrs old.

Question 2: You attended school at US? Yes.

I think you had a lesson teacher in your primary school days that taught you how to answer questions like a kid for the rest of your life. Everyone loves this interview and if you are the only hater, it doesn't matter.

  • @abum91 Dude, M.I did more than well in this interview. I did not expect anything more than this cos he was on point and I'll let you know that the way you expected him to answer those questions is uncalled for cos his intelligence is being put to test. He actually showed that he is completely intelligent when it comes to interviews. Don't raise topics like this cos they are baseless in my opinion. No beef intended here cos you are my brother/sister. M.I did well. Please drop this topic. Safe :)

  • @chimex83 cool

  • @abum91 No I am not a promoter. I am just stating the obvious, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the way he answered the questions. And what has being articulate got to do with being Nigerian. You're either articulate or you're not! And dude I'm not gonna call u names...that's not how I roll. Thanks for stopping by and watching the video.

  • @that1960chickTV wow what a very responsible response to that troll @abum91

That interview was by far the best given by any contemporary Nigerian artist. MI is even more loaded than I'd thought. The way he occasionally praised Naija made me so happy and he laughs so kool. Thanks for another nice video.

  • @abum91 U don't come on here to pedagogy us of articulation, local.....The last time i checked, MI was able to stand out because of his ingenuous + lyrical prowess.

Going back to your comments - the Qs. were answered articulately, he was even emphatic on the education class (i.e K-12/ High school, college.....) through to the year he started & year he got out.

It is okie dokie when AKON refuses to disclose his age on interviews but not MI. Bullshit!

@ least he gave an age range which is fine.

  • @oyinmiebi don't even compare this to Akon. The issue is not whether he failed to disclose his age but that he did not answer questions directly. If he had said that he did not want to disclose his age, then that would have been different. But no, I am in my late twenties; I wish I had started earlier. Nobody asked you that.

  • @princekinzo69 Can u tell the trend on here (the house) your age? the house wanna know your age.....

  • @abum91 dude, go and rest..the fuck is is?? wat's wrong wit this interview, let a human being do him, so your ass can do you..when you get an interview..then u do that shit,, since you know it all..but i can bet you that yr ass can't even speak in english

  • @MrBkofi i took some time to look you look up and your comments in other places before i decided to reply and my reply is"i still have the right to say anything i want to anyone"do you know about the first amendment i guess not.with your language and guess no reply will satisfy you.so hit your head on the wall if you are angry

  • @that1960chickTV u hav practically made no sense....by the way who asked u if u lived in nigeria.....beta get a lyf nd stop beefing ppl who dnt even think u exist...lol

  • @that1960chickTV thank u. @abum does not like to see his people progress. Learn to love and never hate to love. Do your own interview, let's see.

  • @that1960chickTV you don't have to respond to idiots the're just trolling ignore some fools please

  • Comment removed

  • @abum91 you got a problem with understanding english

  • @bodeniyi probably i do.sorry

  • @abum91 please shut up if you have bothing else to do but hate.....:|

  • @djzeez221 now i guess you can not write or maybe read as well.so i cant answer you.if you read all my comments they were no single hate in it.i have songs by my M I in my iPod and i listen to them.he is a musician and public figure and should take criticism.am no hater.hit your head in the wall if you think i am one

  • @abum91 hater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dontdoitok12 ok i get because i said my mind right ?that is why you guys are in dark.grow up and move on.fool

  • @abum91 wth r u talking about? what did you expect him to say? nigga pls!!

  • @abum91 Locall? Let him answer the question how he ants. DO you want to jump through the screen and tell him how to answer a question. Abeg sit down & shut up. & yes I know I am 4 months late.

  • @abum91 Jeeez.....I'm so sorry....I do not usually do this but u r so dumb. His answer to the question about attending school in d US is on point. He stated the years he was in the US and when he went back.

  • 9ja is getting there boss

  • whys he wearing sunglasses :|

  • @ErmWonderful

    ...guess, it's sunny inside

  • @ErmWonderful ask his haters...

  • articulate young man, proud of him

  • One of my biggest pet peeves is when folks where sunglasses indoors! And doing so during an interview bugs me even more! Love M.I tho, the original Mr. Incredible. Great interview!

  • M.I is always representing....mad competition right here between him and D'banj...

  • @Zinnilacious asin eh!...big time competition lol

  • @Zinnilacious

I don't really see it as a competition between MI and Dbanj. They just different styles and they're both just naija artistes ontop of their games, and happen to get a lot of attention. Kudos to them both.

  • wendy williams is such a freak.

  • Wat is her own with his vices??? and since when did living well and driving a nice ride become a vice..lol

  • @pappyibrahim don't doubt... there's money out there to be made! Dangote has made $12 billion in Africa... so I think M.I. can make a few millions.

  • I love WENDY!! "weeeeeeeeeeeeetin deeeeeeey" *snaps wrists&winks. lol

  • @NaijaRoyal007 true that, but that sure would be great if its possible to make soo much money in our music industry
